Casey Posted October 5, 2021 Posted October 5, 2021 New Round2 releases for 2022 recently posted by GRA Distrubution: AMT 1247 -- Ford C-600 Gar Wood Load Packer Garbage Truck AMT 1326 -- Ford C-600 U.S. Mail Truck with USPS Trailer
iamsuperdan Posted October 5, 2021 Posted October 5, 2021 Re-releasing the US Mail truck & trailer again? Interesting that they refer to it as the C600. I've also seen it called a C900. I actually have an original 70s vintage one that I've been very slowly working on. Have the truck almost finished, need to start the trailer. Typical vague vintage AMT instructions and random part numbering, but I like the kit. Will probably pick up another.
Mr mopar Posted October 6, 2021 Posted October 6, 2021 Nothing here to get happy a about ,I would have like to see Round2 do the steam powered front shovel that would look good on the low boy trailer ! 1
Bennyg Posted October 6, 2021 Posted October 6, 2021 It’s a good sign that they’re willing to do whole new moulds. I’m hoping they work on a new modern truck. Ben 1

Rob Hall Posted November 9, 2021 Posted November 9, 2021 Looking forward to the Bronco.. I have the MK reissue from the '00s, but can use a couple more...
Mr mopar Posted November 9, 2021 Posted November 9, 2021 It was just a matter of time The KW would be tagged with the Coke decals !
Oldcarfan27 Posted November 9, 2021 Posted November 9, 2021 Excited about the Bronco, D50 and the Escalade!
Sledsel Posted November 10, 2021 Posted November 10, 2021 Bronco and KW 925 for sure.... The little D50 maybe, but I want the off road version
vincen47 Posted November 11, 2021 Posted November 11, 2021 Sure glad I resisted putting down serious coin for the Bronco. Almost bid on one a month ago.

That’s just part of the fun. Especially when say, the oil filter looks the same as the starter in the instructions. ?
leafsprings Posted November 11, 2021 Posted November 11, 2021 The Bronco would provide us with upgrade parts for the '78 Super Stones pickup kit.
stavanzer Posted November 11, 2021 Posted November 11, 2021 For those who may never have seen this kit "in the Wild' so to speak, here are the instructions. https://public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc/mkiba-build-under-c/amt-instructions/monster-trucks-pull/amt-wild-hoss-ford-/?view=roll Not a lot of options in the box, but It was better than the MPC Bronco, IICR. You will get two sets of wheels, bare plastic & chromed. Chrome Tree is small. The original deals were not all that expansive, but I guess will be bigger in this issue. I'd expect the same tires that were in the recent Jimmy/Blazer kits. A fun kit for sure.
Can-Con Posted November 11, 2021 Posted November 11, 2021 And for those who'd like a better look at the actual kit, here's mine from the original release from the early '80s. I've always meant to rebuild it to better standards but never got around to it. But I did manage to get a replacement set of the green stripe decals for it a few years ago. It's missing a few small parts but it'll give you an idea of that the kit looks like. Only mod I did on this was swap the tires out for the MPC Formula Desert Dogs.
youpey Posted November 11, 2021 Posted November 11, 2021 i built the model king re-release of the wild hoss a ways back. it was very difficult because of an issue with the back not fitting right and being warped badly. however, it was a pretty good kit. i also remember the front grill not having any tags to glue, so it required some extra careful glueing and a promise to never touch that spot again. its a wonderful kit thought and i am so happy they are releasing it again. i will for sure pick up a couple. i spent over 100 on the model king version and i also had a copy of the wild hoss original, which was very expensive as well, which ended up being needed for paint issues and other issues. i put mine in my first diorama. that was a nightmare by itself. haha

Also it looks to have a decent looking 351M engine. I will need several for sure

1972coronet Posted November 12, 2021 Posted November 12, 2021 That's supposed to be a 335-Series engine ( 351-C , 351-M , 400 ) ? Looks like the FE from the F-350 Camper Special Pickup to me .
