happy grumpy Posted December 7, 2021 Posted December 7, 2021 I tried to reproduce the model on the box because I really liked the colors, I am happy with the results as this kit has no issues in term of fitment. Tamiya acrylics for the light green and a mix of dark green and black for the very dark green. Hope you like it. Thanks in advance for looking and comments.
SickBoy Posted December 7, 2021 Posted December 7, 2021 Beautiful build Mario, the color choice great and applied perfectly! Great job!
Zippi Posted December 7, 2021 Posted December 7, 2021 That's a Bad looking ride Mario. That two tone looked Bitchin. Good looking 56 Chevy.
TransAmMike Posted December 7, 2021 Posted December 7, 2021 That looks great Mario ?. The 56 iis kind of a step child to the 55's and '57's but I like them. Yours is very pretty!!
doggie427 Posted December 7, 2021 Posted December 7, 2021 Very clean build, great paint . Nicely done Mario
showrods Posted December 7, 2021 Posted December 7, 2021 Stunning work... What Tamiya colour or colours make up your light green?
happy grumpy Posted December 7, 2021 Author Posted December 7, 2021 Thank you all for the nice comments. Peter, the light green was a mix of tamiya acrylic Japanese navy gray green (xf-76) with a few drops of park green (x-28) The finish is matt so some polishing is needed then 3 coats of ts 13. 1
