Mostly the Aurora kit with a few pieces from Revell. Not perfect by any means and definitely out of my wheel house. Full of new challenges and frustration but satisfying to finish. Perfect Match Classic Green Pearl exterior and a custom mix enamel brown leather interior. BMF, Alclad and acrylic for detail. 6E305260-C1B6-4296-B93E-F217E73FF146.thumb.jpeg.46f98ba3646cc6fcc1fba05bb5cffd20.jpeg89CB7C11-386B-47EA-A856-F64A9E32470D.thumb.jpeg.9179f2ee379f00f8b79c22fbd3a96657.jpeg46561191-BB92-4EB2-AF9F-712CBC258559.thumb.jpeg.5d93faed8bacba2a4da5348b094d9d58.jpeg84E58B90-306D-43B6-9C5F-F69F1946BC08.thumb.jpeg.859e3b3e5f8b63d629e6aedb103744d6.jpeg158B44BA-DA46-4F16-98F7-2327F80FDCDB.thumb.jpeg.fa77c7699055668660c7019e84480573.jpegA2D59DA8-CECE-4375-B2CD-9F3155A03B1D.jpeg.f03363848e4e4ac29b2b7a4776a43932.jpeg7D664625-CAF1-4A97-83C9-2C4EEC69FCC3.jpeg.116b470150c42e1563fcbb36d1f5caed.jpeg

Don't know how I missed this one. Beautiful Aston Martin. I really dig the DB4. I really need to build one of these. I love the colour, and the bumperless look. Your trials have paid off handsomely.

I have a file of about 1500 car photos from the net that runs on slideshow on my model bench as project inspiration, and among them is a black DB4 without bumpers. It looks so cool, much like yours, and every time the photo pops up, I think I need to build one.

That old Aurora kit was a pretty decent model, especially for its time.  Happy to give yours a double thumbs-up. ?? The detail, finish and overall quality is excellent as well as the color (inside and out) being a terrific choice.  Stellar job all around!   Love the DB4 and I have the Monogram release I built in the 70’s on my bench for an upcoming refurbishing.  I only hope mine comes out half as nicely as yours.

Very nice build, James - gives me an idea what to do with mine (I just disassembled my old glue-bomb) - will turn it also into a club racer or historic racecar.
