Very nice. I built a Ertl International  4070A  Bekins back in 1992 for the truck I used HO decals and for the trailer I had a print shop make the trailer decals they came out very nice they were made from Vinyl.

Getting some subassembly done. Weather too bad to paint outside for a while.

May start some assembly on the trailer too.

Did get the Bekins decals in the mail though!

Getting some color on the interior.

Debating on if the dash should be black or oxblood too.

Also tring to figure out how to dull the shine a bit.

Nice progress Johnny. Man that’s definitely a red interior and looks really nice.

It is actually dark red but comes out a little brighter in the pictures.

There are 3 (or more) ways to get flat on the interiors. 1. flat clear. I use Rustoleum, but any will work, there are Rattle can options and air brush option.

2. Use Testors or other favorite Matte paint

3. Craft paints are dead flat and work well for interiors.

BTW, looking good, these are cool trucks.

This is gonna be a cool build, I’ve got a few bed buggers in the stash with no good decals as well.

that interior is fantastic, great job.
