happy grumpy Posted February 2, 2022 Posted February 2, 2022 (edited) Built this a while ago. I wanted to do a Bonnie and Clyde car but for lack of source material decided to leave it simply as a similar 2 door look alike. Acrylics from Tamiya topped with ts 13. I found out later that the actual car was olive green while the warren Beatty 's movie car was yellow to have a better contrast for the bullet holes. Edited February 2, 2022 by happy grumpy 4
espo Posted February 2, 2022 Posted February 2, 2022 I like the finishes and the OEM look. Amazing seeing the difference from the hot rods we become accustomed to seeing.
alan barton Posted February 2, 2022 Posted February 2, 2022 Very sharp! AMT had a few proportional issues with the body on this one but your clean assembly and paint detail has produced a first class model. And yes, it is unusual these days to see a 34 stocker. Nice job! Cheers Alan
#1 model citizen Posted February 3, 2022 Posted February 3, 2022 Looks great! Only missing a tommy gun wielding gangster on the running board!
bisc63 Posted February 3, 2022 Posted February 3, 2022 Very nice! I like your color choice and overall cleanliness of the build. Well done!
ATHU Posted February 4, 2022 Posted February 4, 2022 Looks great, the color suits the car perfectly!!
Sledsel Posted February 4, 2022 Posted February 4, 2022 Really sharp build. I personally like the color choice. Are you gonna build the bullet ridden car also?

Thanks Andy, I would like to do a replica if I can find enough reference to the real car. Thgere reportedly 7 fake cars in various places. But it's definitely on my mind.

I believe the one is Las Vegas is the original comparing photos.
David G. Posted February 7, 2022 Posted February 7, 2022 Another Fabulous Ford Mario! I think I'd like to get one of these and have a go at a B&C replica. (As if I didn't have enough to do already.) David G.
Zippi Posted February 13, 2022 Posted February 13, 2022 Nice looking 34 Mario. Clyde liked the fords because they were faster. I think he even send Henry Ford a letter saying so.
