Calling this beauty about 99% done. Fairly easy build, but the chassis warped again after I started final construction. I included a pic of the tail light assembly to show how to cover it with Bare Metal Foil. That makes light reflect back out and give a better look than the dark look with nothing behind the lights. This color really highlights the sleek lines.

That's one of the best looking Chevy B-bodies I've seen! Lovely work!

May I submit a suggestion? A dark backdrop (charcoal, black, etc.) for photos in natural lighting would really make that paint pop!

The paint gives an unusual effect and shows the body lines well. I like how you upgraded the engine but made it look like that is the way it was supposed to be. Nice use of colors and finishes in the engine compartment for a very realistic look like the core support and the hood latch areas. The interior color compliments the exterior.

Great looking build of a beautiful subject. And the paint is just so unique. Interesting tip on foiling the tail light section and one I'll remember as I get set to start on this kit later this spring. I have to ask. What was used on the backup lights as they look very good and I never quite know what to do with them.

I didn't do anything on the backup lights this time. Often I will build up a couple layers of clear or white glue to give them some depth. The other option is to open them up and put lenses in.

Very nice. Digging the classic look with the cragar's and then lift the hood and BANG new Corvette engine, sweet.
