crazyjim Posted February 28, 2022 Posted February 28, 2022 Just completed this '67 Olds 442. Paint is HOK snowhite pearl. Engine is wired, flocked interior, and the rest is out of the box. 3
Misha Posted February 28, 2022 Posted February 28, 2022 Sweet looking ride Jim! Very clean work, especially on the interior. The pearl white exterior sparkles and is very even throughout. Maybe we don’t see white exteriors too often as the plastic is white as well, yet your execution looks great! Plus the 67 Olds is a real standout from that era. Congrats & Cheers Misha
espo Posted February 28, 2022 Posted February 28, 2022 Beautiful looking paint work and color. The settle differences in color on the interior goes well with the exterior.
cobraman Posted February 28, 2022 Posted February 28, 2022 Looks great Jim. I like the interior colors you used. Go good with the white exterior.
crazyjim Posted February 28, 2022 Author Posted February 28, 2022 Thank you Steve, Mike, David, and Ray.
happy grumpy Posted February 28, 2022 Posted February 28, 2022 Beautiful olds, I like the interior. The pearl white adds to the classy look.
TransAmMike Posted February 28, 2022 Posted February 28, 2022 Very nicely done Jim? I've had this kit for a few years....maybe one day I'll do it.
AMT68 Posted March 1, 2022 Posted March 1, 2022 The car has something of an elegant look with the pearl white. Someday I'll have to try a two tone interior like many of your builds. Great work as always.
bisc63 Posted March 1, 2022 Posted March 1, 2022 Very nice looking Olds; very tasteful and inviting interior! Well done.
kelson Posted March 1, 2022 Posted March 1, 2022 Looks good in white, the interior looks amazing though!!.
crazyjim Posted March 1, 2022 Author Posted March 1, 2022 Thank you Lee, Tom, Tom, Rusty, and Curtis. For some reason, just about all me interiors are 2 tone. I just don't know what the reason is.
Speedpro Posted March 1, 2022 Posted March 1, 2022 You always do such nice clean work. I enjoy looking at your builds.
sjordan2 Posted March 1, 2022 Posted March 1, 2022 Great work. Did you use BMF for the wheel well trim?
Crager Posted March 1, 2022 Posted March 1, 2022 Really nice rendition of a great kit! Love the color!
crazyjim Posted March 1, 2022 Author Posted March 1, 2022 Thank you Paul, Skip, and Craig. The kit came with the side, wheel well, and rear window as individual chrome pieces. The only BMF is around the windshield.
Zippi Posted March 2, 2022 Posted March 2, 2022 There's nothing I can say that hasn't already been said. Just a very well crafted model. Great job.
