rsmodels
I'm still practicing with my new camera. This was a built model I restored to look similar to the car used in the first year of the. Andy Griffith show. I try to restore models any time I can rather than go into my stash of NOS kits. I repaired the body as needed. I used Franklin Mint 1960 Falcon hub caps and Monogram 1/24 tires from a 58 T-bird kit as I feel the Hubley tires were undersized. The roof blinker and decals were aftermarket. The antenna is from an old AMT kit. The blinker and antenna are attached with putty, not glue. I put a 2 way radio in it that I had in my parts boxes. Thanks for looking and all comments are appreciated. -Rich

espo
Looks great. I don't recall ever seeing a Hubley model built to this standard. I like the theme and can't help but think of Don Knotts seeing this.
