happy grumpy Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 Nothing fancy, built out of the box. A fun to build kit, no fit issues, goes together very well and it gives a nice rendition of the impala. Paint is Tamiya pearl blue. I have a bunch of newly build kits but I haven't taken pictures yet. As always , thanks for looking. 7
TransAmMike Posted September 27, 2022 Posted September 27, 2022 Well Mario, as usual you killed that one too. I really like the '62 Impala and you nailed the look there. Looks really nice in that color?
rrb124@sbcglobal.net Posted September 27, 2022 Posted September 27, 2022 Great looking Chevrolet. Loving the all important 409 emblems!
papajohn97 Posted September 27, 2022 Posted September 27, 2022 Very nice Mario! I particularly like the black wash you did on the grill and wheel covers and the toning down on the rear brightwork between the trunk lid and bumper (which the kit provides as a shiny chrome part). I’m currently building a yellow Dyno Don version of this same Revell kit and agree with you that it’s a beautifully engineered and molded model. Love all your builds, so realistic looking, particularly with the dio backdrops you use for your photos. Please post some more! 1
espo Posted September 27, 2022 Posted September 27, 2022 Beautiful looking showroom style build. Great attention to the chrome trim, all very cleanly built.

Thanks Robert, That's what I like from the Revell kits, they include the badges and scripts, makes our life much easier. 14 hours ago, papajohn97 said: Very nice Mario! Thanks John, washes are a great and easy way of adding realism to any model, it brings out the details by adding shadow-like effects. 5 hours ago, H.A.K said: Very nice.
