cobraman Posted October 11, 2022 Posted October 11, 2022 Build stock except for the addition of some decals from my decal stock . Painted Tamiya TS -14 yellow . The clear is Duplicolor IK clear . Not a bad kit . Curbside style . Body to chassis was a bit dicey . I did manage do get some specks on the windshield . It’s always something with me . 4
rrb124@sbcglobal.net Posted October 11, 2022 Posted October 11, 2022 Don't see many of them. Good going!
Belugawrx Posted October 11, 2022 Posted October 11, 2022 Looks like mud from the race on the windshield Ray Nice job on it, I like the yellow Cheers
cobraman Posted October 12, 2022 Author Posted October 12, 2022 Thank you guys very much. Ya, mud on the windshield.
Pierre Rivard Posted October 12, 2022 Posted October 12, 2022 This is a nice build Ray. I always saw beauty in the weirdness of the Europa. I'm sure quite a few of them were club raced.
cobraman Posted October 12, 2022 Author Posted October 12, 2022 Thank you very much guys I appreciate it.
happy grumpy Posted October 12, 2022 Posted October 12, 2022 Great looking Lotus Ray the yellow and decals really make it pop.
Ace-Garageguy Posted October 12, 2022 Posted October 12, 2022 Very nice build. One of my favorite real-world cars, so small you pretty much wear it, but it practically responds to your thoughts.
cobraman Posted October 13, 2022 Author Posted October 13, 2022 Thanks Bill ! On my best day I don't think I could get in and out of that thing.
TooOld Posted October 13, 2022 Posted October 13, 2022 Always thought these were cool looking cars . Yours looks great in yellow , well done !
NYRich72 Posted October 13, 2022 Posted October 13, 2022 Nicely done and it looks great in yellow. I have a Tamiya Europa in my stash that I was going to paint green but.....
Gramps46 Posted October 13, 2022 Posted October 13, 2022 Very well-done Ray. It is certainly welcome to see one built up.
Rockford Posted October 14, 2022 Posted October 14, 2022 That looks amazing. Great build mate. Curbside kits can be so enjoyable because you're not detailing stuff no one will ever see, rapid results. A Europa used to park at the top of our street when I was a kid. If you weren't watching you could trip over the thing it was that low. I believe they were expensive toys to play with. I think you have the best version, very cheap to run.
Dave B Posted October 15, 2022 Posted October 15, 2022 That's a sweet build Ray, it would look right at home on my shelf ? Dave B
Bainford Posted October 17, 2022 Posted October 17, 2022 I LOVE me some Europa. Don't know how I missed this one. Nicely done, Ray. It has a cool club racer vibe. Looks good in yellow, as Europas tend to do.
