A fairly simple kit but the shape is good in my view. I tinted the windows since the interior is practically unusable because of the extra space for the batteries (non included), being a former motorized kit. But still, after building it , it looks very decent for a shelf model. Painted Tamiya camel yellow with TS 13 as top coat. You proved that even this kit can be turned into a fine replica (I didn't expect that) I want to transform mine into a 1973 Porsche Salzburg rally beetle. As far as I know, it is the same ,Imai was the original manufacturer and Aoshima re boxed it some years later and it's still available. Only the decals changed a bit over the years.
