yellowsportwagon Posted January 13, 2023 Posted January 13, 2023 Revell kit lowered on 3D printed Rally I wheels. Added a vinyl top and Stuck a spare LS intake on it just for kicks. 8
rrb124@sbcglobal.net Posted January 13, 2023 Posted January 13, 2023 Very cool GTO! Lots of clean lines and details.
70 Sting Posted January 13, 2023 Posted January 13, 2023 Beautiful build. Excellent colour, chrome and vinyl roof.
NOBLNG Posted January 13, 2023 Posted January 13, 2023 That is a beautiful build. The color and wheels look great on it.?
Zippi Posted January 13, 2023 Posted January 13, 2023 I'm liking this GTO. Nice color with that vinyl top and the stance is spot on.
Ace-Garageguy Posted January 13, 2023 Posted January 13, 2023 Fine looking model of one of the best looking cars GM ever sold.
TooOld Posted January 13, 2023 Posted January 13, 2023 Beautiful GTO Tim ! The wheels aren't exactly my taste but I still like it , well done !
espo Posted January 13, 2023 Posted January 13, 2023 Beautiful looking color and paint finish. The chrome trim and vinyl roof are all cleanly done. I like what looks like OEM wheels but in a larger diameter. Modern touches on a classic muscle car.
Tcoat Posted January 13, 2023 Posted January 13, 2023 Beautiful and a nice choice of colour. How did you do the vinyl roof? It is very effective.

I glue .010x.030 strip on for moldings and top seams. I round off the seams with sandpaper. I then mask the rest of the body off and spray 8 to 10 mist coats of this on it. From about two feet away. Allow to dry ten minutes between coats. Don’t use enamels they dry to slow and won’t make the grainy look happen. 30 minutes ago, DoctorLarry said: 1

Great colour, stance, and wheel choice. I really like the printed, oversized, “factory”wheels. What technique did you use for the vinyl roof, it looks perfect.
Steve H Posted January 13, 2023 Posted January 13, 2023 Oops, I see you addressed the vinyl roof. Didn’t finish reading before my reply.?

I use the liquid cement and an old brush too stipple the surface method but yours looks more even and less labour intensive.
Dragonhawk1066 Posted January 13, 2023 Posted January 13, 2023 Nice looking GTO, I really like the color!
