1/20 Tamiya Jordan 191

Recommended Posts

Excellent kit to build. I had to get a newer set of decals which worked out very nicely. Paint used were Tamiya color matched for the green and Mr color for the blue. Absolutely no draw backs on this kit and a real pleasure to work with. Hope you like the way it turned out.
Kind regards, Steve Cook

Wow! Very  nicely done Steve 👍😉

Thank you Sir.  I had fun building this one and I'm very happy with how it turned out.  I did have to get a new decal sheet but it paid off.  Its a great kit with little or no fit problems at all.

Kind regards, Steve Cook

Who's the pilot ? This might be the car that started the F1 career of Michael Schumacher in Franchorcamps...

The Jordan 191 was the first car constructed by Jordan team that later became famous after Michael Schumacher drove it on his debut in Formula 1.

Great looking model! Could you tell us which color of Tamiya the green is and where you got the decals? I have one in my stash too and you've inspired me to dig it out.

Hi Tony. The color mix ratio is Tamiya is X-28 :2 + X-5 :1 or 80 drops of Tamiya x-28 and 40 drops of x-5. The decals were acquired from eBay. You will have to look to see if any are available.

Oh wow, quite a formula you came up with and it looks perfect. Thank you for the info.

Hi Tony. The formula for the paint is at the lower part of the paint key in the directions it will give you the ratio mix there also.

Kind  regards, Steve Cook
