Silvercreeker Posted March 21, 2023 Posted March 21, 2023 Done! 32 Ford Deuce. The kit was designed in 1959, this is the rerelease from ‘94, but same old design with no details. Reworked all the body seams, correct Flathead exhaust, spun aluminum Moon disc wheel covers and a bunch of details on motor including scratch built radiator. Windshield chopped scale 6”. Driver from kit reworked to have arm match level of door. Original seaweed flames, that stayed together!!! Very very old school cool!!! In the case and on the shelf! 10
Zippi Posted March 21, 2023 Posted March 21, 2023 What a kewl looking old school Hot Rod. Nice mods and a fantastic build. 1 1

stavanzer Posted March 22, 2023 Posted March 22, 2023 Beautiful Build! I've never seen that kit built so well. 1
Bainford Posted March 22, 2023 Posted March 22, 2023 Old school, indeed! Nice work on this ancient kit. The details wake it up nicely. I dig it. 1
Paul Payne Posted March 22, 2023 Posted March 22, 2023 Great job, especially eliminating the seam on the two piece body! 1
Ace-Garageguy Posted March 22, 2023 Posted March 22, 2023 (edited) Beautiful. I love seeing people build these old classics, specially when they put some individual spin on them. Great job. Even though this thing dates from the time of the dinosaurs, it has one of the best renditions of the hot-rod 'look' of any kit ever released. Edited March 22, 2023 by Ace-Garageguy 2
TransAmMike Posted March 22, 2023 Posted March 22, 2023 Yep, definately a cool looker ya got there Scott?
Dan Hay Posted March 22, 2023 Posted March 22, 2023 You've done a great job making a great car out of a terrible kit!
espo Posted March 22, 2023 Posted March 22, 2023 Great looking build, especially considering what you had to start with. Cleanly built and the paint detailing like the engine looks great. Wish they still offered the old Moon Discs. 1
spencer1984 Posted March 23, 2023 Posted March 23, 2023 Great to see one of these done up so well, nice work!

Another source for the Moon Wheel disks from long ago. The dashboard pull knobs on '58 to '61 Fords had a shiny aluminum center that when removed and flipped over fit perfectly into the stock wheels in the old AMT kits of that time period. 1
