Indy Roadster

I like these old simple Monogram roadsters to build once in awhile. This is Jack McGrath from the 1954 Indy 500 using Indycal decals and Rust-Oleum ivory paint. Changed the exhaust exit and altered the pipe a bit otherwise it's fairly close enough for me to not bother with anything else.

This is cool! I've built a couple of vintage Monogram race cars and although they are simple kits they look beautiful.

Those old Indy front engined  roadsters have been quite under represented in kit form down the years.
