Scale model version of my Mother’s 1967 Fastback I restored for her 30+ years ago. AMT 1967 Mustang, resin cast 6 cylinder engine, resin cast wheel covers from an original promo. MCW Acapulco paint, splash paints 2k clear, wet sanded and polished. Scratch built power steering and details. Heater hoses, brake line, fuel line, parking brake cables, plug wires, etc. photo-etch mustang kit, wipers, seat belts, etc. Three position LED switch (on/off/on). One position for interior lights, other for headlights, taillights and gauge lights. Coin battery under spare tire cover.

I am very impressed with your Mustang models. I especially like your use of LEDs for lights and gauges. Looking forward to seeing more.

Great looking fastback and like the way you added the lighting system. Like the engine and interior detailing.

Thanks, shots of interior before final assembly. Shows carpet flocking and detailing better than trying to get a decent shot through the windows. :)

I really like replicas of memorable former owned 1:1's.

Great job Donald.  The 6 in it is interesting.  Impressive?

I agree, but in this case my mother still owns it, it isn't "former owned". :)

Being as OCD as I am I could not stand how poorly the hood fits so I cast another Louvered hood, and I am working to make it fit much better than the first. Time to make an MCW order for some more Acapulco blue paint.  btw, the AMT 67 kit does not come with a louvered hood so I borrowed one from a Revell 1968 Mustang kit and made a mold of it so I can make as many as I need. It is a 1/25 kit as well and only needs a little trimming to fit, it is actually larger than the AMT hood opening.

Outstanding details of your Mom's pride and joy! Those hub caps and WW's remind me of my 68 coupe I had in High School.

I built a 67 FB 6 banger years ago. Someday I want to build my Pop's 67 coupe 6 banger.

I have had a lot of Mustangs in the past myself. I had a C-code 65 Coupe in high School, but I put slotted mags on it back then.  I really do enjoy the 200 6 cylinders for general cruising and ease of maintenance.  Two of the ones I have had in the past I regret letting go was a black/black 1968 S-code 390 GT Fastback and a Lime Gold J-code 1968 California Special. I need to build tributes to them at some point. :)
