STU111 Posted July 17, 2024 Posted July 17, 2024 G’day everyone, another recent one. Probably my favourite Ford ever, just love the look of the 67/68 fastbacks. It went together well, just a little putty above the LH headlight, finished in Tamiya TS-7 for Wimbledon white with TS-8 red for the interior trim. I sourced the torque thrusters from the Revell 32 5 window kit ( I plan on using other wheels on the 32 ) . Wished I’d photographed the interior as a fair bit of detail work went into it, anyway thanks for looking. Cheers, Stu. 11
XYHARRY Posted July 17, 2024 Posted July 17, 2024 Very nice fastback there Stu, that colour with those wheels looks very period correct and from what I can see, the interior shows nice detail. Well done mate. Cheers, David. ??
Ragtop Man Posted July 17, 2024 Posted July 17, 2024 Did you do anything to the stance? The AMT kit always seemed to sit too high and wide in front. (Monogram '65 is too high/wide in back...) Great build, super clean, the Wimbledon white looks great on the car. .
happy grumpy Posted July 17, 2024 Posted July 17, 2024 Really beautiful. Like you the 67-68 fastback are my favorite Mustangs. A real classic look with this color combo. Great work.
PappyD340 Posted July 17, 2024 Posted July 17, 2024 Super nice Mustang there Stuart, very clean build!!
espo Posted July 17, 2024 Posted July 17, 2024 Great looking paint finish and body trim. Good looking color combination. The 5 spoke Americans look good on everything. Like the stance.
Zippi Posted July 18, 2024 Posted July 18, 2024 Nice job there Stuart. Love the color combo. Those wheels & tires make the car.
Nacho Z Posted July 18, 2024 Posted July 18, 2024 Very nice, Stuart! She is one good looking Mustang!

I didn’t set out to change the stance on purpose, but because I had to modify the suspension a little to mount the US Thrusters, I’ve altered it by default. I have heard that the front wheels poke out a little too much on this kit. Thanks for your compliments.??
