Thanks so much everyone. Corvairs have such nice lines I just tried to enhance the look without destroying those lines.

Cool idea and build.  My buddy build a real mid engine Corvair back in the 70's. There was a bell housing that mounted to the front of the Corvair transaxle and allowed a SBC to mount in the back seat area. WILD CAR!

Dennis, I've been looking forward to seeing this car done for a while, and it came out GREAT! I love the front end and the flying buttresses in particular.

Great build. Have to get mine out before 4 years is up. You did the rear hatch particularly well. Always tricky with a mid engined car. Look up Frank Gardiner's Corvair if you get a chance
