'66 Nova-finally done

Well this was started beginning of July and just completed last week.   Wound up being curbside for reasons I won't get into?

All paint is Mr. Hobby lacquer.....Mr. Surfacer 1000 primer, gold base and clear dark red. Of course the pictures don't show how cool the paint/color looks . Wheels and tires from Iceman Collections. Wheels airbrushed with Molotow.

Great color and classic Cragars! She looks ready to rumble.

Is the hood an aftermarket item, or did you modify the kit piece? I do like Iceman's tires, those BFGs look right at home.

Wowser....came out Super nice there Buddy.  The hood scoop is a nice touch and I'm diggin the wheels & tires from the Iceman.

Yeah, I forgot to mention the hood is from Lex's resin.

It's beyond me why the kit doesn't come with that hood. Great looking Nova there Mike, really well done.

Sharp looking Nova Mike !   I've sprayed clear red over a gold base before and you're right , the photos don't do it justice !

Thanks DJ.....yep the Iceman tires and wheels do look good.  I surprised you noticed the BFG's.

Thanks Buddy..,you know my issues I had and I'm pretty pleased with the outcome (in spite of not having an engine to show)?

Those Iceman BFGs have a really distinctive, rounded shoulder, especially in the larger sizes. I think they look great stuffed underneath the rear of any Pro Street-style car.

Nice one Mike! That colour looks fantastic on it. Great work on the foil. Need to get me some of those BFG TA’s from iceman. Is that Tamiya “rubber on the tires?

Thank you Steve.  I used black Mr. Surfacer as a primer and sprayed the tires with it as a final color.
