Tom Geiger Posted January 1 Posted January 1 (edited) Long term project started back when this was a cheap kit. There are 2 kits and 1 junker in here! I built the body twice and did a lot of work several times over the years to learn how to get it to acceptable. I decided to get er done for the MAMA show this past spring. I hand drew and applied the decals to be a late 1960s band bus, converted from a beat airport limo. The interior is full of instruments and “stuff”. This 50 Chevy pickup was built over two days in December as a gift for a friend. I made the decals to match his business. He was very pleased. Edited January 2 by Tom Geiger 6

Falcon Ranchero Posted January 2 Posted January 2 That 1960 Plymouth Coronado stretch Limousine is by far the coolest model I've seen on the forum wow. Totally awesome work that's so cool man 👍👍 1
Tom Geiger Posted January 2 Author Posted January 2 Thanks everyone! The wagon is controversial! And it gives me a chuckle. I had one guy scolding me that I ruined 2 valuable kits! I didn’t tell him it was started back when those old Johans were $5 at shows. I did tell him there were THREE kits in the car! There were two guys looking at it at the Mama show. One pointed at it and said, “Look at that hot mess.” Other guy replied, “Yea that’s just resin.” I guess those are guys who shove a Hemi into everything!
slusher Posted January 4 Posted January 4 Real nice pair of builds! I remember the wagon in the early stage of coming together.. 1

Claude Thibodeau Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Hi Tom! That airport limo turned hippie-mobile is great! I like your sense of humour! CT
