happy grumpy Posted April 16 Posted April 16 A simple but nice kit. Built this one as a break while building the Razor Crest from the Mandalorian. Built right out of the box, it's a good model for the shelve. Painted racing white and pure red Tamiya. The gap between the grille and hood is weird but apparently it is what it's suppose to be according the photos on the web weird but hey , this the 60's right ? I like that look though. The fit is straightforward, same with the trailer . (which I saved for another project.) Thanks for having a look. 12
BK9300 Posted April 16 Posted April 16 Beautiful build! And I'm still in awe of your diorama setup... 1
TarheelRick Posted April 16 Posted April 16 Excellent Ford truck, really like your color selection. Looks like you have that 440 right where it belongs - next to a dumpster. 1
Jim B Posted April 16 Posted April 16 Great looking Ford. Very well done. That alleyway diorama is spectacular! 1
espo Posted April 17 Posted April 17 Beautiful paint combination and finish. Like all the cleanly done OEM chrome trim. 1

satterwhite78 Posted April 19 Posted April 19 Haven't build that one though I do have 2 in the stash. Geez I hope mine looks as good. BTW....I know who, where and what you can do with that 440. I know a guy who knows a guy that could use it in a Dodge Charger.... 1
Musclecars Posted April 19 Posted April 19 really nice pickup there and I just love the photo backdrop 1

leafsprings2 Posted April 20 Posted April 20 (edited) Excellent build and diorama, looks like a Universal Studio's back lot scene from the 60's. The tu tone paint job is perfect! Edited April 20 by leafsprings2 1
Pierre Rivard Posted April 20 Posted April 20 Beautifully done Mario. It looks very real and brings memories of our youth with the bright two tone paint jobs. 1
Steve H Posted April 22 Posted April 22 Beautiful pickup Mario, and your usual excellent photography. I like your colour choices, the cargo, and as always, cleanly built. 1
Zippi Posted April 22 Posted April 22 Great looking pickup there Mario. That Mopar in the bed looks pretty kewl. The gap up front always did look a little funny. I think it was a design flaw and they just left it. 1
happy grumpy Posted April 23 Author Posted April 23 Thank you all. Somehow I cannot reply including quotes I get a 404 error message.
1959scudetto Posted April 23 Posted April 23 Very attractive model, Mario - and added to that : your excellent background!
