m3fan Posted Wednesday at 03:24 PM Posted Wednesday at 03:24 PM Well I finally finished this model and pretty happy how it turned out. This build started 3 years ago when this car showed up at deuce days. I was smitten with this car right away and as it turns out so was the real car world as it has received multiple awards and media coverage since it's launch at 2022 Deuce Days. I took as many photos as I could including the owner name tag. After the show I googled the owner and we emailed and talked about the car and my intentions of wanting to replicate. He graciously sent some leftover paint and leather sample for me to work with. Some of the unique features of this car are the pines winter grill and the wheels. At the time nothing existed in kit form so off to the 3d print vendors and the grill was produced by Texas 3d customs and the wheels and tires crafted by 3D scale parts, the roof is from Ed at Drag city. The remaining parts were from the re issue of the Stacey David roadster. I'm hoping to meet up with the owners at this year's Deuce Days and see what they think! Thanks for looking 26
