What kits besides the AMT 53 Ford P/U and the AMT 34 Ford P/U contain hand tools. I'm filling a tool box and am looking for hand tools with which to do that.

MPC '72 Chevy ramp truck has some.  Revell '53/'54 Chevy (sedan delivery and sedan, NOT the '53 hardtop) has a few.

Q: isn't there a thread which names bongo drums and tape recorders and stuffed animals?

Kit Form Services is a UK company that sells transkits for truck modellers. They have photo etched tool kits in 1/24th scale.

Another thing they have is very good decal sheets for pin striping that includes 90 degree corners and radii.

Of all places I found some ladies tendrils at Hobby Lobby with some tools suitable for 1/24. Will try to get a pic tomorrow. There is/was a detail set for trucks by Italeri (#764) that has some.

The '61 Falcon Ranchero, has a few tools and a Pair of Round Gas Cans.

The '64 Ford Mod Stock kit has a Pair of those same Gas Cans.

The ex-MPC '78 Dodge has a few tools, and the '72 Chevy Rollback has a whole sprue of tools, including a small Vise.

And Round2 Has two relatively new Garage W/ Tools kits that have lots of larger Tools.
