Porsche GT3 RS in factory "Geyser Gray Metallic"

Out of box build in Scalefinishes Porsche "Geyser Gray Metallic" and UPOL clear coat.  Wheels painted with Ford Candy Red (no clear coat).  Loved the kit with the exception of the roof CF decal.  I did my best with it.

Ditto everyone else...super clean build of a very attractive subject. The carbon fiber looks good to me! I scrolled back up to see what paint you'd used for the wheels; they're quite striking. This kit, and your execution, definitely does the 1:1 car justice.

Very nice, very sharp clean build.  I have this one in the stash and look forward to building it.  The carbon fiber roof decal has a reputation for being a bit of a challenge; yours seems to have come out just fine.  Any advice on applying it?

Thanks, there are a few flaws in it if you look closely but I tried to overcoat it with multiple layers of Future floor polish and then level it to hide the issues.  If I had to do it again I think I would probably cut a couple of narrow "v"'s in the front of the decal to allow it to conform better to the curve of the roof line.  Then use some solvaset and heat to get it to shrink at the outset.  I think I waited too long to try this.
