S. Svendsen Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 Just finished my build up of the Moebius '53 Hudson Hornet. I want to emphasize my model was built from the 1st round test shot and the tooling is still in the development stages. After reviewing the test shot it was decided to alter the tooling to make it even more accurate. So, the final kit should build up even better.
kerc Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 I'm keeping my eyes peeled for this model. My dad had a green Hornet with a light green top when he was young, brash, and a National Guard sergeant. He unfortunately crashed the car and it was destroyed beyond repair. He always remembered that car fondly. Even though Dad died five years ago, I would love to replicate his car.
ra7c7er Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 My nephew saw this and screamed "DOC". I busted up laughing. Guess I have to pick one of these up.
sjordan2 Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 Just spectacular. Can't wait to see the next version with improvements, and it would be nice to see some interior shots.
Harry P. Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 Beautiful! And just think... the production kit will be even better than this!
Danno Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 (edited) WOW! Just spectacular . . . and it's going to be getting even better! Holy Hornets, Batman! Edited January 19, 2011 by Danno
Guest Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 Would someone be so kind as to email me these pics? I am having problems viewing some pics on the site.

sak Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 And you guys are complaining about THIS ?!?!!?!?!?!? Dont alter it. I like it just the way it is.

62rebel Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 i will have to set aside some funds for a couple of these, if only to stash them for when i'm settled again. excellent rendition of what is shaping up to be a new benchmark kit.

Zoom Zoom Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 Looks fantastic, and considering the improvements they are making, should be an incredible model
Dr. Cranky Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 Okay, so the kit is being released in February, right?
Jairus Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 April is what I heard. Nice to learn that another artist (and a good one at that) turns out to be an exceptional modeler to boot! This Sean is someone I want to meet...
Racephoto1 Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 Well , its good to see one model company is really listening to modelers. The Hornet and a 300. I love the Hornet, but have always wanted a 300. If it is anything like the Hornet, I'll buy a dozen 300's.
W-409 Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 Amazing job you did with that. I must get this kit, it's simply perfect basis for building NASCAR racer or custom. I like the paint on that and foiling work is very nice too. Engine looks good also, I can't wait to get this one to my hands...
