Mopar - D
This is the Revell 1962 Plymouth Valient. The Valient has a lot of BMF for a small car and this is also part of my 62 MOPAR transporter project posted in the truck section here. Please enjoy and comments always welcome. Thanks Dan

W-409
I have always liked this car. The body shaping is excellent. It looks good in Factory Stock form, too. You did great job with this one. Clean and nice build.
cobraman
Looks very nice. Is that a factory color ?
my66s55
I like the color. Nicely done build.
charlie8575
It's nice to see a first-generation Valiant built up and displayed. I didn't realize that AMT was still making the 4-door and that it had an engine by 1962. I have a 1960 that I need to get built. disabled modeler
I have the 62 4door too...once the needed parts are found it will be factory stock too. Nice looking little car and build.
george 53
I had one that I sold, it was an AMT without an opening hood. This one has an ENGINE! Too COOL! I'd like to find one of these little rascals! It sure wouldn't get sold or traded! Yours came out REALLY NICE!
Danno
Very nice ValiAnt, Dan! That would be a fun re-issue to have showing up from AMT/Round 2, wouldn't it?
Mopar - D
This is a Revell kit not the AMT it's a nice kit could use more detail on the interior and on the bottom side. This was offered with a motorized kit too.
george 53
But isn't it a Revell kit? Did it come with a FULL body, or do you have to attach the sides, like the old Palmer kits? I've never seen that particular kit.

W-Machine
I like that slant six mill under the hood. Nice work.
Rob Hall
Neat..I've never had any of the AMT or Revell Valiant kits. Too bad they didn't make a '67-72 style 4dr one.
Mopar - D
George, the Revell kit has a full one piece body with the opening hood and engine. Ray, I used Dupli-color Chrysler Intense Blue Pear Pb3

Ace-Garageguy
Nice to see one of these little guys built so nice. It's a car I used to truly hate, but i've really come to love the styling over tha past few years. It certainly doesn't look like anything else. bbowser
Very nice! So ugly it's cool, like many early 60's Mopars. I learned to drive in my buddy's '63 Dart very much like this. Push button auto, slant 6 terror.
CorvairJim
Nice work, Dan! Those late Virgil Exner Mopars sure had some, er, "unique" styling to them. While I'm not a huge fan for the most part, I do like cars that dare to be different, and these cars, by their very styling, certainly did that! I'd love to come by a restorable built-up of one of these to to redo and add to my early compact collection.
Mopar - D
Jim I saw one on eBay yesterday in red that was built up.
Vilperi
Really nice build. Do anyone know if they ever been reissued since 1962?
