cobraman Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 If they won't exchange them then perhaps we can make a deal.
1930fordpickup Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 (edited) Ray in 82 or 83, I was at the Super Ford show in Detroit MI. While looking at the nice Thunderbolts all in a row this rumble came up behind us. The ground was shaking as we turned our head to see a early Bronco pull up. It was sitting very low, had a Boss 429 and two huge rear tires. Still in primer but man was that cool. Oh and my Olds Aerotech showed up today. Edited February 26, 2014 by 1930fordpickup
cobraman Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 That sounds like a possible plan with the exception of the primer. I am one of those who prefer paint.
1930fordpickup Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Ray that Bronco only had a windshield and one seat. It was an in progress build.
Tom Geiger Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Hey Ray! Here's two more Cobra stamps. Part of a huge multi-country (most you've never heard of) car series. Both should be easily found on eBay, don't pay any real money for them.
cobraman Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Thanks Tom , I will look for them. I have to check what I have first. I have a ton of Cobra BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH.
Deathgoblin Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 got a 55 Chevy Pickup rebuilder and a Revell Porche slant nose.

I have a ton of Cobra ######. No Problem Ray! From the days that I was a stamp writer, Tuvalu used to send me press releases and sample stamps. I knew I remembered a Cobra! I'll go through my stamp mess and see if I have them for ya.

How big is the actual spraying area, and have you used it yet? Because if it works well and is big enough for normal 1/24th & 1/25th bodies, I may pick one up!
GeeBee Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Forgot I'd put in a bid for this on eBay, not that I need any more Beetles, that makes 3 of these in the stash now, on the plus side, I only paid £11.00 inc' shipping for it ....

I have the same booth only mine is branded by Badger. It works great and i more than big enough for 1/24 or 1/20 scale. Any bigger and it will not work. The cool thing is if you buy 2 of them they can connect and become big enough to spray a 1/12 body easily! One word of advise is place a towel under the booth if you have it set on something you dont want paint on because paint will make its way through the bottom of the side panels. First time i used mine, i had it sitting on top of my Snap On tool box, thank god i had some paper under it!
dwayne4385 Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 I have used it to spray a body yet. I have sprayed interior parts and it seems to work great. I used some masking tape and taped all the joints where the panels connect.
charlie8575 Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 I found some really nice 1/25 floor mats. I'll be putting a review in on these in the new kits section sometime in the next day or two. Charlie Larkin
booboo60 Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Just bought the 70 chevelle Ss for the Red Alert project, might have to jump ahead for this build,
Greg Cullinan Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 That spray booth seems like a good buy. I need one, think I'll go with it. Hobbylinc Japan and some modelhaus tires/wheels
Greg Cullinan Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Have to have options ? trying to get my kit to wheel ratio 1:1 Martin, that is definitely my thinking too.
GeeBee Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Just had an email telling me my Bantam Jeep is on it's way to me ...
2000-cvpi Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 I stopped at the Hobby Lobby and lhs today.
cobraman Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Took a trip to Hobby Bench this morning. Brought this stuff home.

Joe Handley Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Put some of Proline Racing's 4.75" tall licensed TSL Swampers on my XJ bodied Wheely King!
