It's then sold to distributors who sell down to hobby shops so the tariffs are being absorbed across a few different layers. Given the tariffs are being paid on the wholesale level the $6 might be a 100% pass through rate when you're considering a singular tariff charge on an entire container of products...when that's then split back down over thousands of units... Manager at my LHS told me that most of his distributors have asked him to accept smaller margins on the products he sells. He cannot make enough money to stay in business by doing this. IMO no one at any level will be willing to absorb the additional cost due to the tariffs. The end consumer will foot the bill. 2
stitchdup Posted Friday at 06:46 PM Posted Friday at 06:46 PM Guys, please stop the tariff talk. Its kinda close to political and i dont want to see this thread locked, i just want to see what you got cos it gives me ideas 6 2

Only difference is it doesn’t work capillary action hence the bigger brush.

kelson Posted Saturday at 09:59 PM Posted Saturday at 09:59 PM Today's Hobbyshop buy, looks like a 84 Pace car could be built even though the 85'Fiero had a v6 not the iron duke 4 cyl. 3
ismaelg Posted yesterday at 01:02 AM Posted yesterday at 01:02 AM I am looking at that Fiero to do the '84 Pace car. The boxart is even the Pace Car color scheme including the roof scoop. Maybe as a curbside... 3

I bought one of these a while ago and it will be maybe never before I get around to building it, but I did see someone on eBay was selling a 3 person garbage collection crew that would go well with it. My only concern is that most 1/24 people are 6’+ which makes them even taller in a 1/25 environment. 1

The LHS I went to only had thick CA glue they said dried slower but still seems like it dries too fast (for me) to position some finicky parts I have in mind. We’ll see… 2

The second half of the challenge is to hunt down a Fred Cady set. Or have them printed as the scheme is fairly simple. I am pretty sure the MPC Fiero (or at least one of them) has the 4 cyl engine. People come in all sizes and it probably won't be very noticeable. 1

One of their options is 1/25 scale. https://www.modelu3d.co.uk/product/1444/ steve
