I finally have it.

 

It arrived safe, and properly packaged.

 

 

 

And is 100% damage free!!!

 

This is the first Tamiya Volvo 850 kit I have received that didn't have a damaged A pillar.

 

As suspected, the decals are a little yellowed, so I pre-emptively ordered a set of SK Decals through Spot Model, which arrived a few weeks ago.

 

Now I have the pair.

 

 

Me so happy.

 

Superb! I was at the launch of these two race cars at Silverstone in the day!

When I finish a kit, I always cut off the box top and one side panel, and keep those before tossing the rest of the box. 

Some of these, I plan on putting in frames and hanging as art in the office. 

This box will be one of those art pieces for sure!

Yesterday:  Revell 71 Mustang Mach 1 kit and an AMT 70 Camaro puzzle.

Today:  I received my Crown Model 1/24 Maserati Bora kit, which was an eBay find that was on my watch list for several months before I decided to pull the plug.

Tomorrow (Saturday):  my 1/16-scale Otaki Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale should arrive.  Another long occupant of my eBay watch list

The Revell van kit was a bit of a hard to find but the decals need to be done again .

Got these just today. Sod Buster was a local Hobby shop purchase and will be a model of a certain 82 step side Chevy my uncle use to own along time ago. Qtips for some decal work here in a while and I was eating lunch and just looked out the window to see the Amazon driver and he dropped off the Micro Set and I thought for the price we got it in bigger bottles than this... How or where do I order it in bigger bottles than this???

Piqua (OH)....their 1st swap meet show.  Wallet came home lighter!  Everything is complete/sealed inside.....except the motorcycles and the NSX (F/S)

Hayyy a Fast Buck, I use to have that kit along time ago and sadly among me moving a lot, I wound up loosing it in one of the moves... Would love to find another down the road sometime

I think STS Decals has replacement copies of these decals if you need them. I bought a set of the Charlie's Angels from them for that version of this kit.

Glad you made it, Jack from Atomic City had a table there. We had too much to do couldn't make it. Plus I really don't need anymore plastic right now. Love the California Roller, nice score

A few things that have arrived over the last couple of weeks (except the Revell 240Zs). I've wanted one of the Tamiya 240Zs since I first saw one, and was finally able to afford one. I never planned to start collecting Datsun 240Zs, but, here we are! The mesh is radiator mesh from CTM. I haven't had any mold putty, for quite a while, yet I use it fairly regularly for making quick molds of simple parts. Glad to have that back on hand. I got the FSM/SA Contest Annual, and an assortment of thirty 1"X30" belts for my bench sander.

Got this yesterday. Hadn’t had any kit to build for a couple months so this was nice to get. Obviously not going to make the low rider out of it. I was curious to get my hands on the kit, and am excited to build it but I really have no idea what I’m going to do to it.
