cobraman Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 Another Cobra for the collection. This one has lights and sounds but I don't really care about that it's just a Cobra I didn't have.

cobraman Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 How many Cobras do you have? Don't know exactly but somewhere north of 625.
landman Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 Don't know exactly but somewhere north of 625. Again, it won't let me write below the quote. Are they all different scales from tiny to huge? You may have more than they made.
cobraman Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 All different scales and different materials.
Tom Geiger Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 A lot of the time, it's when I put in multiple bids on eBay, and end up winning both kits, Ha! Back in 2007 I wanted one of these neat diecast 1950 Ford trucks. They were going for $50-65 at shows and on eBay at the time. There were three of them offered on eBay one week, so I figured I was fishing with little hope, and put a $25 bid in on each one. I was very surprised when I won them all at $22-25 each! I happily paid.
cobraman Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 Hey Tom, those are cool ! What scale ? I'm thinking they would make a good basis for a hot rod.
Tom Geiger Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 Hey Tom, those are cool ! What scale ? I'm thinking they would make a good basis for a hot rod. They are 1/25 or 1/24... definitely our scale! I wanted at least one to build a model off of, but they are so nicely done I didn't have the heart to break one up... and which one? Too much of a decision for me!
cobraman Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 Another Cobra rolled in today. Got this one on ebay for a buck. Don't much care for it but that never stops me from buying a Cobra.
StevenGuthmiller Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Just came today. In excellent shape! needs a little work on the vent posts, but other than that, very nice! Steve
o-man Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Casey, that looks cool. I guess it is a simple chassis, like the 911 series that makes a very nice shelf model?
Casey Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Casey, that looks cool. I guess it is a simple chassis, like the 911 series that makes a very nice shelf model? Very much so. I'll post a look at the contents soon.
disabled modeler Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Just came today. In excellent shape! needs a little work on the vent posts, but other than that, very nice! Steve That is sweet Steve!....I am green with envy....LOL....
ferrarijoe Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 All my Christmas orders finally arrived. except micronitro is still making me some wheels.
Modlbldr Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 My buddy gave me this recently. What a friend. We then debated on what way to build it. 1. Push car for a 60's front engine dragster. 2. Push car for a 34 Ford Bonneville car. 3. 60's surf wagon. I'm leaning towards 3 or 1. Later-
Old Buckaroo Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 (edited) That is a nice one I like the idea of building #1 or #2 Edited January 16, 2015 by Old Buckaroo
jrherald420 Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Merry Christmas to you!!!!! That's quite an expensive haul!
StevenGuthmiller Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 That is sweet Steve!....I am green with envy....LOL.... I over did it a little & doubled down Mark. This week I picked up an even nicer version of a '65 Plymouth hardtop! I think I'm played out for a while! Steve
Ron Hamilton Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Just came today. In excellent shape! needs a little work on the vent posts, but other than that, very nice! Steve Lookin' good Steve. I have one of those to be built. The only thing I do not care for is that JoHan put Sport Fury interiors in these kits, while the exterior triom was for the Fury lll model. In doing the research to build mine, I pulled some pictures of some Fury lll interiors from the web. I have a spare front seat from a Lindberg Ramchargers Dodge, which will give the the basic front bench, and the rest can be applied to the existing interior tub and back seat, using various sizes of plastic strip and half rounds. I like the look of this one for my build. I will probably use the kit wheel covers and whitewall tires on the build. I know that whichever direction you take with your kit, it will be stunning.
landman Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 I got this:a stash of 409 parts. Some of will be used in the making of the 702. Is it just me or has Photobucket changed again. You now have to email yourself the photos you want to add. Except they don't arrive. So I used the forum thing. Looks ike I can't upload here either, it says Error 301. So no pix.
