Mark
The Shelby chili mix kit changed hands a few times. Kraft had it for a while. I did try it once, but I prefer the more familiar style myself. One of the two bigger grocery store chains around here carries the Shelby product.

And I'm pretty sure every time, the new owners made it "better", which in Kraft's SOP means "engineer as much cost and flavor out of everything we make so it will appeal to the standard 8-year old's level of culinary sophistication". I really liked the Shelby seasonings first time I tried it decades ago. Last time...meh, and never again.
Ace-Garageguy
It's getting to the point I just don't want to fly commercial anymore. Both Boeing and Airbus have recently discovered they've built planes using "titanium" with faked documentation from a certain "offshore" supplier. The material, when tested, passes some of its required performance metrics and fails others. Inspiring, isn't it? EDIT: This resonates with a situation some years back when the aviation community was awash with substandard hardware and fasteners, also all with faked documentation to make them appear legit, and traced back to the same part of the world. https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/growing-threat-counterfeit-aircraft-parts-aviation-safety-reddy Edited June 21 by Ace-Garageguy

I rubbed and scratched and did whatever it took to try to satisfy the itch to the point they started to weep. I have never felt such a uncontrollable itch with that intensity. I was considering going to the ER. It lasted over an hour. After soap, cold water and a washcloth the itchy sensation started to subside but still felt inflamed. When my primary doctor's office opened I got right in and was dealt another jab in the, arm and another 6 day regiment of Prednisone. Man I hope this works this time round.. Since I haven't been back out in any of the gardens I'm thinking there's some trace of the oil on something I've touched again.. possibly my yard work shoes? I've had them on a few times since, there in the trash now. Not taking any chances. Sounds like an allergic reaction to something. While taking your prednisone don’t be in the sun until you finish it…

With this scorching heat you won't see me out, kinda makes one sweat and cause a more itchy situation. I hope your still on the healing path from you're falls. Not sure if it's an allergic reaction or some of the poison, urushiol oil is still present somewhere on something and I'm unknowingly respreading it. It's enough to drive you nuts thinking about what all you came in contact with throughout the day. Plus I did a little researching on the urushiol oil, it can have a very long life away from the actual plant, scary. I Hope you're continuing on a good path with no complications and plenty of positiveness. I'm rooting for you, buddy.

Seems that the fluid from the plant that is the irritant can remain in most any fabric or clothing for a long time. Maybe wash any and everything that has come in contact with the plant and see if that helps. A personal experience with poison ivy when I was first exposed as a child was really severe and had spread almost head to toe and was even in my eyes. A family friend who was raised on a farm offered to try something that he had to do as a child. He put me in the shower with the water at the highest temp I could stand. This opened the source so they would start to weep. He would hand me a washcloth that he had run under the hot water tap in the sink and have me keep running it over the infected areas to help wipe away the fluids from the sores. I would stand under the shower head and keep rinsing myself off. When he felt that the sores had wept about as much as we could get from them, he had me stand and sort of air dry my body without the use of a towel. Then came the calamine lotion. This happened for a couple of days and seemed to lessen the poison ivy's effects on me. Slowly the sores started to heal so this seemed to work for me anyway. I would suggest getting a doctor's opinion on this type of treatment as not everyone is going to react in the same way, and this isn't anything to take lightly. Wow David... what a horrible experience at a young age. I've had poison a few times before but never this bad, I was treated before in the same manner as now prescribed by my family physician, shot and Prednisone. I still believe its residual urushiol on something that's behind the fair ups on my hands. Last night I rewashed the bed sheets and cover as i have done each night plus wiped every conceivable surface with cloroxwipes that I may have come in contact with, including the car. 🤔 When this is over I'll be rewiping to rid all the calamine lotion evidence left behind.. 🕵

The evils of technology, and the curse of CV-19 that implemented the 'portal' that everyone has to use now to get a building permit. Don't you love having to come up with a password?
