Forgot to post this last week. Went to a hobby shop so my roommate could do a little shopping. Testor's Spray paints were marked $18.99! Revell Paint wasn't marked , and I was to shocked by Testors to even ask about Revell or Tamiya's paint's. My roommate was shocked when he looked at the Coca Cola KW Model that was tagged at  $ 100.99! He Bought the AMT  reboxed Ford 9000 Conventional Which was $89.99

Is this what you call future shock, they're pricing things for days yet to come.

As is Autozone and some other companies. Raise the price before  anything else causes it to increase.

Hop in my car to leave the grocery store and Slow Ride is playing on Sirius XM 70's channel so I crank it up. They cut it off! Didn't play the whole song! I've never heard anyone do that before.

Every party we had back in the day that song would have to be played.

Geez that's an awesome song; that is totally abnormal that they cut it off mid-song. I know there is a short version of the song but that is really wierd they'd stop it abruptly. First heard in the credits of 1993's Dazed and Confused. Great Movie.

I feel you pain - There is a radio station that plays "oldies" on Saturday morning. The music is great - makes you feel like your in "American Graffiti" problem is the host likes to hear himself talk. Talks through the songs about his memories or whatever sometimes even sings with them.

I remember when it first came out, I was 15. It was always played during the school dances, to be young again...

What irked me?

Rottweilers. Specifically My Rottie, Yarbo.

She is a even tempered, affectionate dog most of the time, but at 26 months old, is still a puppy in 'Rotte years'. This morning I find her chewing on the Blink Camera for my front door. Not even sure how she found it. Over the last two years I have taken things from here mouth that I would not have believed any dog would try to eat. The List is Long: Pine cones, Paper towels, plastic any thing, steel bolts, 2"x4" chunks, even small rocks. She will literally try to eat (or at least chew on) anything. It is a constant battle with her.

My wife says owning a Rotteweiler is a Lifestyle Choice, not owning a pet!

Me: I'm convinced, that without humans to pull things from their mouths, no Rottweiler would live long enough to breed! The entire species would die out in one generation....

But, this is the most loving animal I've owned in 30 years. She is really my dog, and she shows it every day. She waits for me when I leave, and sleeps at my feet when I'm on the computer. Truly a great dog.

You're not alone.

Our 2 rescue dogs are always looking for something on the floor, carpet, and outside to eat. They're small dogs; both around 15 pounds. We had 2 Westies before these guys and they weren't like this. I sometimes wonder if its a "rescue" thing. Don't know what their lives were like before and maybe needed to eat anything they could to get by.

I always go out with them in the backyard and that's mainly to keep an eye on them and yell whenever they want to pick something up and to make sure they do their "duty". Usually that's not a problem but sometimes they'll want to come back in when I know they need to poop. Dumb dogs.

My rescue pit harper licks. Compulsively.  The shelter actually had her on meds, our vet took her off, and explained to us it's a stress/boredom reaction. She's trying to calm herself. We've gotten a few things to help her keep occupied,  and our other dog. Big improvement now, maybe that's the case with your rotty

I had two Rotties.  They were great dogs....  I lost one in a divorce, but managed to keep the other.

They do like to chew... Normal dog toys get destroyed in minutes, so some of the tougher chew toys may be worth trying.  Take the object out of their mouth and hand them a chew toy... See if that helps.  I used to get Lacrosse balls for the dogs.  Too big to swallow and  too tough to destroy (at least right away LOL)  and great to play fetch with.

You must have been listing to Series Radio. They are known for cutting off many music recordings that run longer than the time they have allotted for a piece to play.

When I woke up this morning, the house air conditioner/heat pump wasn't working. Breaker tripped, so I reset it and the air conditioner screamed at me then tripped the breaker again. Compressor is bad, might need another unit. I just got this one (used) six months ago.

This is more of a dog thing. Our Lab was just like that as well. Look for a good pet supply store in your area. We used to get a spray bottle of what they called "Sour Apple" flavor to spray on the corners of kitchen cabinets, chair legs, and other furniture and objects. Worked for us anyway.

If my Basenji is bored he will chew on just about anything. Loves plastic, gotten several model parts and put some builds on hold.  Also loves packing peanuts, especially the dissolving ones.  Have to keep him busy with chew toys. If he gets enough exercise he is much better behaved. I just don’t always have the energy to keep up with him.😴 It does seem to be a breed issue. Had three basenjis and they were all chewers. My beagle mutt on the other hand just wants to play fetch with her ️.

Oh, we get Bark Boxes, and Kong Brand toys. Just just chews those things to bits more slowly. LOL.

I feel your Pain, John about losing a dog. Hard on both you and the dog. They bond with "their" people, and the separation confuses them.

Frank (mini dachshund) turns one in a couple weeks an we've yet to find a toy he can't destroy.  His latest fatality was supposed to be one of the indestructible toy and he ripped up open the edge stitching in about five minutes.

Bear had emergency surgery a week ago Monday to remove a chewed/eaten sock wrapped in grass.  How can a 30 pound dog eat something that filled a canister about the size of a pop can!  We spent another seven hours at the emergency vet on Sunday as she wasn't eating.  There is an actual Rx for an appetite enhancer (!) to help jump start the stomach.  We've had her almost 11 years but in great shape for being at least twelve so I was very nervous about her undergoing anesthesia.  I'll never be ready to let her go, but certainly not now!

Try getting some rawhide chew sticks from a pet supply. They come in several different sizes depending on the size of your dog. Should the dog chew off a part of the chew stick and swallow any of it their stomach is less likely to be injured.
