ChrisBcritter
Hmmmmm... This is going to be difficult, though. I was thinking along similar lines (I already have a '64 Coupe deVille ): Edited January 1, 2015 by ChrisBcritter
mike 51
There's a lot more pics on the "other" model site....it still needs quite a bit of work on the front end before it's released. imo. it also has chrome tailights w/out separate lens which struck me as kinda odd.... Art Anderson
I also notice the door locks on the inner door pannels too!! very nice touch I will for sure get a few of this kit art do the front wheels also turn fron right to left?? excllent work can't waite till we get this kit!!! Given that the front spindles are on round pegs, inserted into round holes in the A-arms, it was a natural for me to pose the wheels into a slight turn. mike 51
I saw the pics on the 'other' site, but for some reason half of them show up as an x. I just checked, there are 7 excellent large pics ...I have no idea why you can't see 'em,sorry. Art is there a reason you didn't post 'em here too? MrObsessive
Same here about the pics, and I've tried both Mozilla and IE. Not sure why that's happening. From what I did see it looks very nice and I'm sure Moebius has another winner on its hands!
'70 Grande
Somebody please message me with how to get to that "other" model site so i can view these pics!
ChrisBcritter
please pm me too - I looked at what I think is the other site (rhymes with "jail motto snoozefest"?) and couldn't find it.
Rob Hall
it also has chrome tailights w/out separate lens which struck me as kinda odd.... Yes, that makes no sense in 2015..
ChrisBcritter
OK, I used the URL of the first photo to find the others. Looks pretty sharp! Yes, the ends of the grille will need some finessing where they meet the fenders, but it's getting there. Nice job so far.

I had these pics when Art started the post, but i didnt want to step on his toes. It looked like everyone was chompin at the bit, wanting pics, and i got em from Facebook. Ive been wanting this car in scale for 20 years!!
martinfan5
Yes, that makes no sense in 2015.. I would hope that they are just for the test shot, and the final production version will include two piece head/taillights. Jay t.
That interior looks spot on, chassis is real nice. I will be buying a few of these for sure. Hopefully a drag version is planned. Thanks Moebius.
moparfarmer
I think the car is great..Maybe a few small details but the biggest bug-a-boo would be glueing the w/shield/rear glass from the outside..Just my take..Very nice car and well done Moebius.... Bad Brad #2
This is just my opinion, so take it for what it's worth. The body looks good to me, at least they got the curve of the windshield right which Lindberg didn't do on their 64 Dodge and Plymouth kits. The interior also looks good to me. However, the chassis (at least the floor pan) and the engine look "clunky", like they were lifted from the just so-so Polar Lights 65 Dodge Coronet kit. Maybe a cut above the old MPC Mopar chassis' and engines, but far from the level of detail that Revell has given us in their 67 Dodge and Plymouth kits or Revell's 68/69 Charger chassis' and engines. After the Hudson and the Chrysler 55/56 300's these 2nd round test shots kind of fall flat for me. Mobius has raised the bar with their first few automotive kits, this looks like they are coming back down to earth. Maybe I'm just expecting too much. I'm sure I will get one as soon as its released, but if what I'm seeing is what I get in my hands I doubt I'll be buying multiples of this kit even though I like the subject. Spend those 2 cents anyway you see fit.
Art Anderson
I would hope that they are just for the test shot, and the final production version will include two piece head/taillights. The headlights are two-piece, clear lens with plated reflector behind them--just don't yet have the detail engraving done.
jbwelda
I don't know about the engine looking clunky, in real life wasn't that engine kind of chunky anyway? it looks very nice to me; I see a lot of details usually left off kit engines like that front end detail, oil filter and that exhaust header (probably would not use it myself but its interesting to see how they reproduced that...wasn't a photo of that or similar (1:1) posted somewhere here recently?). its good to have Art on the case. jb

Guest
Looking good. One thing I would like to see is separate parts for door handles on the interior.
