Sunday afternoon, I was heading northbound on I-65 around Merrillville IN/rte 30, on the southbound lanes...only got a quick look coz it was going fast...I'm pretty sure it was a Lambo...not sure which model...it was bright orange, blacked out wheels, & hood. That bad boy was like a missile with wheels! I wish I knew my Lambo models by sight...just not sure which one it was...

Last Sept. I was in Colorado, taking a shortcut from Aspen to Colorado Srings via Independence Pass (12,000') and as I reached the summit these were parked off the road...

Sad to say, I had to drive a car from St. Paul, MN to Seattle, WA last week and saw almost nothing interesting. I know it's the wrong time of year to see many cool vehicles on the route I took. I-94 to I-90. But, the only thing I saw remotely cool was a modern Dodge Challenger going the other way in western Montana.

I need to take that back somewhat. On the train ride back, I saw a few cool old cars and trucks sitting in fields near the tracks. But, other than a '60 Olds 4-door sedan, nothing too exciting.

Andy might recognize this '73 or '74 Charger, and the elderly gentleman who drives it year 'round. I spy it once a year or so, and happened to catch it/him a few days ago:

Actually, I can't say that I do. Where was the pic taken? Pretty good shape for a 40+ year old regular everyday year-round driver though. Lots of car washes!

Near the Lowe's on 45 & Burleigh. I've seen him cruising around the Falls a few times, too.

Saw a really clean black '73/74 Nova 4dr in traffic yesterday...haven't seen a 4dr Nova of that era in a long time. Also saw a black Bu Maxx (the uncommon Malibu Maxx hatchback from about 10 years ago, but missing the 'Mali' letters on the tailgate...)

1975 Monza ( "H-Special" platform of the Vega ) .

Original-issue blue / gold California licence plates ( "M"-series ; M=1975 ) . Don't know what's under its bonnet ; could be an Iron Duke , or a 3.8 litre Chevrolet , or a 262 V8 ; I have no idea ...

I was operating under it's own power and INTACT!?!?

Wow, we haven't seen one of those out here in a LONG time. They all disintegrated years ago!

Technically its not on the road ,,,,,,, but during a visit to my local pick and pull a while back I saw this.

It'll never be back on the road ,,,,,, but this just isnt something you see in a junkyard around here anymore.

Yesterday while stuck on the 10 I saw a red SSR and a very nice customized oval window VW which was also red. Sounded great going through the tunnel.

Didn't grab a pic, but I was gassing up when I heard this rumbling pulling to the pump behind me, I look and it's a bright red 69/70 Nova SS, mind you I'm in Michigan, but when he got out he was wearing a carheart so I'm guessing he was working on it and wanted to make sure everything was up to snuff.

Two days and two gorgeous vintage Buick Skylarks. A blue '70 coupe and a white "71 convertible.

Saw a Lamborghini at the same time I saw the white drop top Buick. I'd take the Buick.

I saw a green '66 Dodge Dart here in Finland on those snowy & salty roads. It really made my day as it's nice to see that I'm not the only one to drive around with a Rear wheel drive, chrome bumper American Car. B)

Saw this Porsche 944 in a parking lot as I was about to leave. Kind of an odd "winter beater."

Bah .. I had five 924/944's and ALL were driven year round in the western mountains of Massachusetts! .. and none were beaters. The have galvanized bodies and not a spot of rust appeared an any of them over a 20 odd year time. WE have lot of snow and they use salt galore on the roads. The firs three were trouble in a snowstorm as there were no winter tired available at the time. Once I could get four winters on the last two I could go out on a job in a storm .. and make it up my steep driveway!
