Saw a newer Challenger going down the road that had the red/white/blue Sox & Martin paint scheme. No, it didn't have the name or any racing decals on it. But still cool to see.

Still some around.  I see a bright yellow one with the black out trim on my way to work a few times a week.   Looks like an angry bee!

GM groupthink?  No one had enough moxie to step up and say "This thing is ugly with the 'arched back' shape of an angry beagle" so they thought to go along to get along.  Still causes me to cringe on the rare occasion that I see one.

Pat this was the first time Dad had been fishing after the stroke in June. It was a bad fishing day but a  good day to see him do fine by the water and using the fishing pole.  Steep banks and uneven ground he  did fine. I did have to take the fish off for him though.

Walked out my front door a couple hours ago and heard a car start up down the street, classic muscle car rumble...turned and looked to see a gorgeous black w/ red stripes '69 Mustang Mach 1 pulling away from the curb, pulling into a driveway, backing out then driving away...

Spotted sort of a unicorn on the road this afternoon, a bone stock second gen Mazda RX7 (FC) Turbo II that looked like it did when it was new. There wasn't even any oil smoke or apex seals coming from the tail pipes.

One of the things that I love about Canada is how all these wonderful cars come out of the woodwork when the weather is good. We were in the wilds of the Ontario "wine country" in 2009 and wound up at a 4 way stop with a 68 Beaumont SD 396 convertible. Seems like Ontario has been better for my car spotting, but it looks like BC is good too. I just didn't experience it during my visits.

Going to a small garden centre near us, one miniature steam tractor and a 1940's tractor and trailer following it with the owners family riding on haybales on the trailer, superb sight and sound on a backroad!
