Gonna teaching for the third grade English next term. Met with the school's foreign teacher named Dustin first time, he's a guy with red hair, and after greetings he told me that this is his last day work in my school... Made me wondering who's gonna to be the next one.

Good for you. Americans should be learning Chinese. The way things are going, China will probably own the USA in another generation. :D

I drove to "cheeseland" today and had a "sneak peek" at the new Portillo's in Brookfield. They also gave me a FREE lunch and a t-shirt. This event was by invitation only. They will "officially" open next Tuesday on July 19th. Great food as always. I also stopped at the Model Empire and picked up the new Revell '30 Ford Model A Coupe kit, and also the latest issue of Model Cars Magazine as well.

Some great news today. My blood work the other day showed another improvement in my A1C number. An even better piece of news for us is that the possibility of my wife having oral cancer was proven to be untrue ! I can not express how happy I was to hear that. Sometimes we forget the things that are really important.

Never eat out during the week but tonight my wife brought home food from Micky D's. Does that count ? Also today was here 34 th. year with the company and she brought home some cake that they bought her.

What makes me happy is the good news I've seen.

Jim and Ray- may good health be here to stay for a long time for both of you.

Ed- your pictures are inspiring, especially those sunrises, and that orange one was spectacular!

Joe- you got out of the hobby shop and I got into one. Good luck with your new position.

Who sez having a Nice Dinner requires Eating Out? Given your collective news I woulda thawed out and Smoked a Cowboy Steak (1 or 2 bone Prime Rib) to an internal temp of ~125f (takes ~2hours) then Sear it on the Grill for the Char and have it with twice baked Potatoes with Garlic and Green Beans. Wash it all down with a Zin. Oh and Congrats to your Wife on 34 Years on the Job!! The Longest I ever stayed at a Job was 11. Although your Wife started he Job the same year my Wife and I got Married!
