Crazy Ed Posted November 1, 2016 Posted November 1, 2016 Monday Evening we were treated to the first colorful Sunset in a while. It was a tad Breezy but with the Temp in the low 70's it was all good.
Crazy Ed Posted November 1, 2016 Posted November 1, 2016 Been missing your pics, Ed. thanks. Jim, You are Welcome. Sorry it's been so long, but I just take the Pictures. I've yet figured how to Paint the Sky! Got a Bonus this Morning. The Clouds didnt blow away before Dawn.
cobraman Posted November 1, 2016 Posted November 1, 2016 Ya, I knew I was missing something but could not put my finger on it. Nice pic, thanks !
Crazy Ed Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 Ray and Jin, I'm glad to have been part of your Day.
TarheelRick Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 Sierra Hotel?Charlie LarkinSierra Hotel is the phonics for the letters S & H. This being a family oriented site I can not tell you what the "S" stands for - it has four letters, but the "H" stands for Hot.
slusher Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 Monday Evening we were treated to the first colorful Sunset in a while. It was a tad Breezy but with the Temp in the low 70's it was all good. Thanks for sharing your beautiful scenery Ed!!
High octane Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 What pleased me today is that the Chicago Cubs won the World Series against the Cleveland Indians, in seven games with a rain delay and extra inning in game 7. It was a tough game and of course both teams wanted to be the "champs" as they were a pretty good match up.
Crazy Ed Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 Thanks for sharing your beautiful scenery Ed!! Happy you're enjoying it Carl.
charlie8575 Posted November 5, 2016 Posted November 5, 2016 I get a raise effective January 1.The Cubs won in what was one of the best ball games I ever saw. Red Sox fans salute the Cubs! You guys really earned this.Charlie Larkin
charlie8575 Posted November 6, 2016 Posted November 6, 2016 Not all Red Sox fans. Personally I rooted for the Indians. I wanted to see Terry Francona tuck it up the keesters of John Henry, Tom Werner and especially Larry Lucchino, otherwise known as the "Red Sox Brain Trust". Francona got totally screwed by the Sox owners when he was in Boston. I hope the Indians make it back next year and go all the way. I will agree that Terry did get a bit of a raw deal, but I looked at it this way, only the Cubs had a longer drought than we did, and it was their turn.I suspect Tito will get to pull the rug out from under the management in the next year or two. The Indians have a great team, and I wouldn't be shocked if it happened next year.Charlie Larkin
Ace-Garageguy Posted November 13, 2016 Posted November 13, 2016 Simple pleasures for a simple mind: I've been using a cheap Bic disposable single-blade razor since August. I've never seen a blade hold its edge like this thing does. It's the Energizer Bunny of disposable razors. The angle the head is made at makes it almost impossible to nick yourself, too.
High octane Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 What please me today was how very well behaved my 3 year old behaved in church this morning. He usually behaves pretty well in church, but today he was exceptional. Wow.
Scott Colmer Posted November 21, 2016 Posted November 21, 2016 (edited) Tomorrow is the first day of a week long vacation and..... I got my modeling bench cleared of and I am actually working on stuff. First time in months! Edited November 21, 2016 by Scott Colmer
cobraman Posted November 26, 2016 Posted November 26, 2016 Wife and I made a trip to San Diego to spend the holiday with my daughter. Was a great day.Today she took us to tour the SS Midway. What a huge aircraft carrier. Weather was perfect and it was another great day.
blunc Posted November 27, 2016 Posted November 27, 2016 I was able to change the failing water pump on my twenty year old car...for less than $100.
High octane Posted November 27, 2016 Posted November 27, 2016 I was able to change the failing water pump on my twenty year old car...for less than $100.You did "good."
High octane Posted November 29, 2016 Posted November 29, 2016 Was at the movies today with my better half and saw Rules Don't Apply with Waren Beatty. While the movie was just so-so, there were lots of late 50's and early 60's cars in the movie.
charlie8575 Posted November 30, 2016 Posted November 30, 2016 A strong start to the Christmas selling season at the store has been most pleasing. We had a big sale over the weekend and did about a month's worth of business in three days, and the trend has continued for the last two days. This keeps up, we'll have a decent 4th quarter.Charlie Larkin
Ace-Garageguy Posted November 30, 2016 Posted November 30, 2016 A strong start to the Christmas selling season at the store has been most pleasing. This keeps up, we'll have a decent 4th quarter. Nice to hear people are still spending some money in real stores. Hope your strong start continues.
Agent G Posted November 30, 2016 Posted November 30, 2016 Heading back to work this afternoon after a month in "exile". Long story, but I took an ambulance ride, spent a weekend in the hospital and have been home recuperating for three weeks. MrsG is ready to kill me. Grateful to be alive and returning to full duty. I'm a lucky guy, twas a minor blip in comparison to what some are going through. G
Tom Geiger Posted November 30, 2016 Posted November 30, 2016 Wow Wayne! Hope all is well. What did you build for us during your exile?
