I love those "Tire Repair Kits"!

I could have used one, when I owned a Model T Speedster.

Your collection is very sharp.

Thanks! That's just a small portion. I've been collecting Ford stuff off & on for about 30 years. Most of it is packed away until I get a bigger place somewhere less crowded!

I'm lumping in several days into one post.  Started car show documentation, pure accident, check out year and odometer.

First cruise, next week is my auto club's cruise night.

Just after getting the brakes working, attended an auto club meeting, made Fakerri's debut.  That is an MG on a VW to the right.

Living about a mile from the local small-plane airfield pleases me quite often...... On nice days (like we've had for the past few) I get to see at least a couple/three planes fly over. The latest 'cool' plane to make it's way over was a mid-sized personal plane, about the size of a Lear jet, but it had two prop engines, and long thin wings with vertical stabilizers on each end...... Not sure what it was, it looked different from the usual Cessna-type planes we usually see.

Bill, as much as I would liked to have seen one of those, I believe that this was what flew over the other day.......

Your mentioning Beechcraft was right-on, as that's how I found this pic!

Over two months late but finally got the fountain grass cut down today.  Every weekend it's either been raining or too cold to do it.  I think all the neighbors had the same thought as the curb line is lined with stuff folks cut down this weekend.

Started the long over due project of tearing out the old rotten landscaping ties that run along a portion of our front steps and sidewalk to the stoop. Ants galore, found a salamander and a toad in the process. I was able to get half of the new ones in place but ran out of day light. Tomorrow I'll be back at it again even though I'm sore all over. Instead of using the regular steel rebarb I used green rebarb. Cuts easier but it's apparently coated with a fiberglass coating. Tomorrow I'll wear gloves when working with it. I can feel tiny splinters in my hands.. my bad, but I do like it better than the steel rebarb. Oh yeah, went to use the wheel barrel for the first time in 2 years, the tire was flat and the tire had dry rotted. Went and bought an air less tire and all is good again.

Rains came today; further enhancing the snow melt after yesterday's stifling 12 degrees celsius and sun.

Also, I have a car if I want it. A 1985 (I believe) Pontiac Parisienne four-door. Pale grey witha black vinyl top. Kinda rough around the edges but very low Kms. Relatives down in Southern Ont. said it's mine for $1500. Can't lose on the price that's for sure, and I may be satisfied with it. However, to go and get the car would be a few months from now so I'm still looking for \other Classic cars. There's two in the next city over, a '70 Cougar and a '57 Ford, both extremely reasonable prices considering condition and power. Ususally we go on a weekend trip there occasionally but it's not going to happen for this weekend. Maybe next but I don't know if those cars'll still be for sale then. Especially the '57. Mint condition 2-door with a Thunderbird motor. $15,900.

The Detroit Red Wings being eliminated from playoff contention.

Close again but had a bad month in March. Wondering if Steve will be back running the show next year?

Got two vehicles titled and tagged in person at at the office in less than 15 minutes.

One thing about this state...they have done a great job streamlining the process...assuming you have all your docs in a row.

Its my mums birthday so my cousin named a cow after her and registered it for showing. I hope it wins something, it would be funny to see my mum win the cow class next year.

Yes, happy for that bad month, would like to see more months like that from them. I’m sure he will be around for years and years considering the love affair this town has with him.

So...not the $10,000 CDN convertible on KIJIJI...

1970 cougar convertible in Classic Cars in Mississauga / Peel Region

Saw that one. No, not a convertible guy, and unfortunately the cougar I'm talkin' 'bout isn't on kijiji, its on facebook marketplace; a little trickier for us to get a hold of the seller since none of us have facebook (though a relative does so we just ask him) but the car is super nice.

Those things are tanks. Basically the same as the caprice, which were used as taxi's and police cars back in the day.

I finished my landscaping tie replacement project that I mentioned earlier. Turned out better than I expected but dang I'm sore all over, but thats the price us older guys pay. To be young again..

I also got an estimate on replacing the old roofing shingles. Everyone else in the neighborhood that's had theirs done, it has ended up costing them around $15,000. for 1,350 sq. ft. of roof. Luckily I have a friend who will do it for half that amount. It's good to know people..😉 so I'm actually not just pleased, but tickled to death.

My roof 12 years ago (1,895 sq.ft.) ran $9500.00 for composition shingles. My daughter's house across the street (1,550 sq. ft.) was $12,000.00 3 years ago, same shingles.

The Joys of living in California, and having a roof put on during COVID.

Glad your estimate is reasonable.

Clean bill of health from the doctor this morning, with the typical "we'd like to see you lose 20 pounds ". At least my lungs are 👍

This happens to me too. But I always tell the wife "I'm just glad I can still do it".

sold the old fridge after nobody wanted it free, or for the very cheap price. So i added a tenner for a couple of days, then reduced it and it went fast. turns out i just didn't ask for enough money, lol
