  1. Have not rec. 214nor any reply, I'm not the most tec. savy, so I'm probaly doing something wrong. Help
  2. I've built this model a few times, the first being a promo gift from FORD to people who bought a new car. This issue is not very different except for the horrendous tires( same ones as in the Watson roadster).
  3. Once again I am truly humbled. Can't wait to hear it rumble!
  4. Ok, you had me at sectioning a "49", no one seems to do it anymore. Back in the olden days, you could see some at most car shows, and at model car shows also. This is truly unique and very interesting. Keep on building.
  5. Hope I am doing this correctly. Michael Northern, mikeandkay08@comcasrt.net       4413 Washington ct.

I wasn't complaining about MCM, I'm sure it's a problem with the USPS. Thanks for your help.

  6. Haven't received mine yet, Thats not normal. Checked with P.O. they might have just as well said "duha". I am willing to pay for the issue again just to get it.
  7. Thank you fine sir. Did not even think about indycals. Age it's wonderful.😀
  8. Just got this kit, and it was as I remembered it. With out a doubt the most incorrect Tires I've ever seen. anyone know where I might find A treaded correct size set of tires? I'm not building for a contest quality, just something to look right. HHHHEEELLPPPP!!!!
  9. I guess no one remembers the Cadillac/ Allards that gave the sports car world fits. The could be bought for about 3000.00 in 1970.
  10. In one of the books on Shelby, there are a couple of color shots and they were red. Wish I could remember which one. I'll keep trying to find it and let you know. I believe this may have been a test of the "cam back" effect for the Daytona Coupe'.
  11. Stil waiting..... looks like worth wait, as usual.
  12. Ray, try taking the hump off the sides, make it more angled than rounded. see if thats what you are looking for.
  13. Ray, I have followed your "Cobra" builds for a long time. This is one of the ugliest Cobras I've ever seen. My hats off to you. I could never do that to any Cobra. LOL. Good luck and I can't wait for you to finish this. Lots of fit, and cut, and fit........ P.S. I see you found something to do with the "custom" top from AMT.
  14. The worst vehicle I ever owned was a Chrysler PT Cruiser, bought new in 2001. every 20,000 to 25,000 miles, I got to replace the entire braking system. At 31,000 miles, the head gasket blew. Now you could say that I'm hard on a car, but the car I traded in was a 1991 Turbo MR2 with 385, 000 miles on the original clutch. I went back to Toyota, never to return to the "big" 3. Oh by the way, Chrysler said the problems with the PT Crusier, were design flaws.
  15. Looks like you captured Sir Malcolm's beast dead on. Beautiful work. Great detail.
  16. I'm sorry, but I believe the Fords were on a test track, Toyota pulling the shuttle was on pavement. ie city street.
  17. Beautiful! The detail is wonderful, but I'm afraid it overshadows the great job on the paint, ie the lack of over spray, even in the door jams. 1st. class. Thanks for sharing.
  18. I remember when this little jewel came out the first time. If they weren't challenging enough, some of us thought converting them into Alstates. Yours is going to be fun to watch, and bring back some very good memories. Thanks Mike
  19. First, thanks for your service, With out guys like you we might not be able to do this. Really like the build, and the color is just right!
  20. In 1963, my dad bought a brand new cream colored Falcon. On the way home from the dealership, he stoped by a fabric shop, and picked up 4 little cream colored push buttons. We get home and he takes his Casexx knifeand proceeded to remove the front fender ornimates, and replace them with the little buttons. He had more fun out running most anyone around town including the police. It was the first 260 V8 in a falcon in town, for a while anyway.
  21. Back in the olden days, I saw the movie "The Lively Set". I got turned on by LSR. Got the idea of doing 4 V12's, Lexan and carbon fiber, along with "Ground Effects, and aero dynamics. Basically, a vacuum formed monocoque Styrofoam reinforced Lexan body with Carbon fiber structure. The V12's would each produce well over 2,000 bhp.just thought it would be a fun ride down to the A&W.
  22. Just lost my friend on St. Patric's day. I must correct all dog owners about the statement about spoiled dogs, they are not spoiled, they have you, uh us trained, and quite well! Love them with all you can.
