  1. I got a set from  Indycals, they were oos for about 2 weeks. just keep checking back,as they regulary stock them.

  2. Built one of these when they first came out many moons ago. As I remember, I used about a tube of that wonderful "putty" that came in AMT kits, just on the side vent filler. was a good kit for the tome. Like I said it was many many moons.
  3. I've built this kit. Didn't look near as good as yours. This is beautiful.
  4. Got mine yesterday. have put it down only to do the necessities, grate again, as usual.
  5. Back when I entered contests', one I entered required wheels to roll. I spent my time building a model to be as realistic as possible, only to have one of the judges hit it with my trophy, because the wheels rolled, my model ending up in pieces, because said model could not be shown in advertising, I was disqualified. Last contest I ever entered. Also the last time the wheels on my models no longer roll!
  6. Mr. O, those are beautiful. some of the best wires I've ever seen in any scale. I've watched your work for years, but never seen your 3D work.I'm hooked. If you ever sell them, let me know, I',, buy what I can afford. Thanks for showing.
  7. Oh no! Not another piece of art calling it'self a model. The amount of detail, metal work, is unbelievable. WOW, and every other thing I can say. I do have one question, what weight oil and brand are you going to use?
  8. I agree with "ACE", I can see those on many, many, models. Superb work. The SR2,looks great also. this is gonna be fun.
  9. Looks like it's ready to go to the starting line. You captured the look perfectly.
  10. YES!!
  11. Really, really nice and well done. Details like the "separation line" between the white and the orange, set this beast off.
  12. I remember "Rick" from another forum, his work is always well done and well thought out . Glad to see you here.
  13. this is such a great idea. I am in the process of building a custom 58 chevy and have been looking for just this kind of thing, and you've given me more money saving ideas. Thanks Mike
  14. Well, another weekend blown. Got 217 yesterday, and have only put it down, to eat, sleep, and to do other things as needed. So thanks for being the cause of my inability to do any "honey doos". I really hate having to do this, but a mans gotta do what a mans gotta do. The sacrifices we must endure for models.
  15. I'm doing a similar chop on a VW and have run into some minor issues, but nothing too awful. I agree Bondo works. I like where you are headed, can't wait for more. Model on.
  16. Got mine day before yesterday. Great issue. Really liked the article on the "Ala Cart, had the original, built it way back then... don't remember mone looking like that, but I could be wrong.
  17. Welcome back, glad you are here. From one Tennessean, to another, VFL.
  18. Old school. I like it . You got the stance spot on. Zeed frame came out really sweet. I really like every thing about it.
  19. Have been watching for some time in total amazement and awe. I had an acquaintance that owned one of these little hot rod gems. A couple of times he let me drive it in a vintage/ concourse event. They were very quick and handled quite well with the throttle. I digress. You should be extremely proud of your work . You got "Braggin"rights.
  20. I can smell the pies.
  21. I know I'm late to the dance, but Ken Miles worked with Shelby to try and develop the "Tiger" into a racer but could not get it to handle at all. The Tiger was yellow, and Ken hated it. Just some info, if you're still working on the Tiger.
  22. Oh yea. I like me some Studes. Keep posting. Like your work, too.
  23. YES!
  24. My second favorite auto. Cobras being my first. Looking very good. I know people seem to get all wrapped up in accuracy, and thats fine if you do contest models. Ray, I'm like you, just give me a model that I'm happy with, and that's fine. Your work always impresses, and this is no exception. Keep on building, I'll keep watching. Thanks.
  25. Been in hospital, just got home and found your thread. Picked up an unopened Big Duce at a yard sale last year for $10.00, and have been thinking about doing something with it. Will be watching and thinking . Really like what you are doing.
