  1. Old school. I like it . You got the stance spot on. Zeed frame came out really sweet. I really like every thing about it.
  2. Have been watching for some time in total amazement and awe. I had an acquaintance that owned one of these little hot rod gems. A couple of times he let me drive it in a vintage/ concourse event. They were very quick and handled quite well with the throttle. I digress. You should be extremely proud of your work . You got "Braggin"rights.
  3. I can smell the pies.
  4. I know I'm late to the dance, but Ken Miles worked with Shelby to try and develop the "Tiger" into a racer but could not get it to handle at all. The Tiger was yellow, and Ken hated it. Just some info, if you're still working on the Tiger.
  5. Oh yea. I like me some Studes. Keep posting. Like your work, too.
  6. YES!
  7. My second favorite auto. Cobras being my first. Looking very good. I know people seem to get all wrapped up in accuracy, and thats fine if you do contest models. Ray, I'm like you, just give me a model that I'm happy with, and that's fine. Your work always impresses, and this is no exception. Keep on building, I'll keep watching. Thanks.
  8. Been in hospital, just got home and found your thread. Picked up an unopened Big Duce at a yard sale last year for $10.00, and have been thinking about doing something with it. Will be watching and thinking . Really like what you are doing.
  9. Just saw this, thought I'd died and gone to heaven. Great build of an icon. Over the years I've seen lots of pics of Old Yaller and they were all just a little different, a patch here a piece of tape there so yours may be correct for some races. Model on Oh great one!
  10. Have not rec. 214nor any reply, I'm not the most tec. savy, so I'm probaly doing something wrong. Help
  11. I've built this model a few times, the first being a promo gift from FORD to people who bought a new car. This issue is not very different except for the horrendous tires( same ones as in the Watson roadster).
  12. Once again I am truly humbled. Can't wait to hear it rumble!
  13. Ok, you had me at sectioning a "49", no one seems to do it anymore. Back in the olden days, you could see some at most car shows, and at model car shows also. This is truly unique and very interesting. Keep on building.
  14. Hope I am doing this correctly. Michael Northern, mikeandkay08@comcasrt.net       4413 Washington ct.

I wasn't complaining about MCM, I'm sure it's a problem with the USPS. Thanks for your help.

  15. Haven't received mine yet, Thats not normal. Checked with P.O. they might have just as well said "duha". I am willing to pay for the issue again just to get it.
  16. Thanks guys, you all never fail.
  17. Well still looking, Indycals are oos.
  18. Thank you fine sir. Did not even think about indycals. Age it's wonderful.?
  19. Just got this kit, and it was as I remembered it. With out a doubt the most incorrect Tires I've ever seen. anyone know where I might find A treaded correct size set of tires? I'm not building for a contest quality, just something to look right. HHHHEEELLPPPP!!!!
  20. I guess no one remembers the Cadillac/ Allards that gave the sports car world fits. The could be bought for about 3000.00 in 1970.
  21. In one of the books on Shelby, there are a couple of color shots and they were red. Wish I could remember which one. I'll keep trying to find it and let you know. I believe this may have been a test of the "cam back" effect for the Daytona Coupe'.
  22. Stil waiting..... looks like worth wait, as usual.
  23. Ray, try taking the hump off the sides, make it more angled than rounded. see if thats what you are looking for.
  24. Ray, I have followed your "Cobra" builds for a long time. This is one of the ugliest Cobras I've ever seen. My hats off to you. I could never do that to any Cobra. LOL. Good luck and I can't wait for you to finish this. Lots of fit, and cut, and fit........ P.S. I see you found something to do with the "custom" top from AMT.
  25. The worst vehicle I ever owned was a Chrysler PT Cruiser, bought new in 2001. every 20,000 to 25,000 miles, I got to replace the entire braking system. At 31,000 miles, the head gasket blew. Now you could say that I'm hard on a car, but the car I traded in was a 1991 Turbo MR2 with 385, 000 miles on the original clutch. I went back to Toyota, never to return to the "big" 3. Oh by the way, Chrysler said the problems with the PT Crusier, were design flaws.
