  1. This is so cool. I just got the same kit for the same reason. CHEAP. Just had not even thought what I'd do with it. Thanks for causing me to think way outside the box.
  2. Just found this......... WOW! the non flat upper and lower radiator is a fine example of attention to detail people are talking about. amazing.
  3. Really good build. I too built the 1/12 scale version. Had lots of detail in 1/12 th, You managed to capture all I could see in 1/2. This fits on a much more acceptable size shelf and looks much better.
  4. I was gifted a1918 Gibson L3 arch top guitar. For it's age I'd say it's about 85- 90%. Plays and sounds great. Can't stop smiling. 71 yrs. old and I got my first Gibson.
  5. Great job. puts me in mind of when the "rich" boys used to buy J2 Alards and put Olds and Cadilliac motors, and went sporty car racing. good old days. Glad to see that kind of out of the box thinking still lives, even if only in 1:24 scale.
  6. I hope everyone who wanted this re-issue, (including me) is happy with what they get, it will not be the quality , fit ,or finnish as others in the market. Just be glad to have this model back in our hands. Thank you Revell.
  7. Got mine yesterday( 3/12/24) love the show coverage, and the how to's. Awe, hecl I liked it all.

  11. Got mine yesterday. Thanks, I know this is a difficult, but keep on keeping on. great mag.
  12. That's a 49 Mercury .
  13. I would like someone would do a 60's era formula Vee, as designed by Ed Zink. this was and still is a division of racing that many great racers came through. Should not be too hard to do, as there are many pic's of chassis to complete cars. These are small cars and would take little product to make. Anyone interested?
  14. Love the build, Color,WOW! in reality if Chrysler had taken over AMC earlier, AMC would have ended much earlier and gone the way the Jeep is going. Don't buy at any cost is the recommended, buy nearly all consumer report type experts.
  15. Got mine yesterday. Gotta go, I'm only on page 5. Thanks for a great mag, and all the hard work you put into making it a reason to watch my mailbox.
  16. Add three more nuts to the wheels, Thats what you had to do to keep the wheels from coming off at cornering speeds. three lug wheels just couldn't handle the stress. The SCCA allowed this alteration. Hope you have fun. It's such an undated little sedan, and so much fun to drive.
  17. Very Clean and beautiful colors. WOW.
  18. Worth the wait! Sweet.
  19. Looks Great, I thought the 289 used in the Daytona's were black not corp. blue. I could be wrong.
  20. Yellow bought TNT Holland and Holland America about 10 years ago.
  21. The floor was body color.( blue or white) no carpet. These were "ready to race " outside of France. Don't forget the red G on the rocker cover. The door panels were body color, with simi gloss black/ flat black inserts.
  22. looks great. I have an infinity for this car . Raced in C sedan in Historic series. Car was originally owned and raced by Tom Van Hoozier, and prepted by Zink cars of Knoxville,Tn. A friend bought it from Tom , We restored it and have had a ball since.
  23. Ray, I have watched your builds and enjoyed every one. You are part of the reason I started building again. Hope you change your mind and keep building something. Your work, and witt will be missed by me.
