    My brother had a 58 two door sedan that was close to that color combo. He cut a telephone pole down with it.

    Sorry to take so long to respond but the model was 100% out of the box. The tonneau cover as well as wheels are directly from the kit.

    Nice looking build! As for polishing Future, I used 8000 and then 12000 polishing cloths, then Novus Fine Scratch Remover and finally Novus polish on this Falcon Ranchero. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=91357&hl=

    Nope, I'm talking about denatured alcohol. I saw that tip here on the forum. Do a search for denatured alcohol in the Model Building Q & A. Got a gallon at WM and it works better than anything I've tried so far. Didn't destroy anything. I'm going to give the water and acetone mixture a shot too.     Great looking cars and a good variety also. I enjoy seeing American cars in other countries.

    I've tried a lot of glues that are recommended here on the forum. I've just started using Super Jet and it has become my go to glue for almost everything. I ordered some of their medium thickness and it's pretty thin. I may try some of their thicker stuff next time.

    Looks good so far. I'm anxious to see the finished product. I'm working on the Fireball Roberts 57 Ford.
