Modelmartin
Someone should snap this up and take it to GSL - class winner for sure! https://www.ebay.com/itm/1-24-1-25-Custom-Cord-1930s-Vintage-Classic-Roadster-yellow-for-parts-restore/111939307709?hash=item1a101a48bd%3Ag%3ACLIAAOSwvgdW6sie&_pgn=2&_sacat=2580&_nkw=cord&_from=R40&rt=nc
SfanGoch
Looks too much like a pro-built model. I don't think ringers are allowed to be entered.

Snake45
I don't think even Snake-Fu could help that poor backbirth.
HomerS
I'm more drawn to the McDonald's colored vehicle with the cross-eyed headlights

Chuck Most
1. How can it be both 1:24 and 1:25 scale. 2. Cord? I'm no expert on '30's luxury cars, but it looks like a Benz to me.

The same way a Hasegawa Volkswagen Beetle kit is listed as a1/24 1/25 AMTJohanMongramRevellScatPackBoys. You cover all bases without hitting the ball out of the batter's box. iamsuperdan
From the description: "This may have some nicks or scratches on it and also maybe a little dusty. " Wait, what? And it's also from an "adult collection." I want to see that collection in all its glory. I've seen this seller's stuff all over Ebay. I'm not one to ever criticize or comment on what I perceive to be sub-par builds, but holy cow.
Oldcarfan27
You guys should check out the thread I posted a few months ago about this very seller! Search "Junk from an Ebay seller?" Edited July 19, 2018 by Oldcarfan27
StevenGuthmiller
If nothing else, he sure has an eye for fantastic color combinations! Sherwin Williams must have had a sale on "colors that nobody should ever use"! I am particularly fond of the "pop tab" tow bars on the last 2 masterpieces! Don Wheeler
Just as there are people who collect bad art, maybe there are some who collect bad models. It could be this guy's buyers are people with money to burn and a sense of humor. He has 100% positive feedback for the last 12 months and 726 sales. It's like some movies that are so bad that they're considered good. Don
StevenGuthmiller
I sincerely hope that these were not recent "adult builds". I did a much better job than this when I was 7!!! Steve
iamsuperdan
I wonder, has anyone ever reached out and asked this guy about his builds? Is there a reason they're built this way? There must be a story here somewhere. They also must be quite old. All the glue has yellowed, and I don't think anyone can fake the kind of weathering and dust and random hairs and whatever else is showing up on those kits. The other interesting thing is the diorama. It looks well done.
