Fujimi kit with 250 parts inluding a quite detailed engine bay.

Normally I like to paint Ferraris in other colors than the usual Rosso Corsa but the 288 was available in that color only so I made an exception with this build.

Very nice job on a difficult kit to do.  I have this kit in my collection and am now inspired to build it.  I have many, many Ferrari's in my collection, all but two of them are red.

Awesome!

looks razor sharp with the detail painting on the engine. You got a nice gleam on the body, too.

I like the background...can I ask where you got it?

Fantastic job! I know all too well what a bear that kit is to build, but it’s worth the struggle!

Fujimis Enthusiast Model kits are a challenge - but definitely worth it (as proven by your flawless execution)!

I love it!  Did a fine job on building it.  Which is more than I have done, have this kit and the 1/16 Fujimi as well.

It is a beautiful build. How long did it take you to complete?

Thank you very much. Difficult to say as I have several builds going on at the same time but as others have said in their comments this kit is a bit of a challenge and was put aside many times during the building process. It demands a lot of patience!

Thats a beautiful GTO. you've done a great job. That kit is both amazing and tricky. I love all Fujimi Enthusiast kits, but this is my favourite.

From my research, I think there is at least one yellow one, and one white one. However, Rosso Corsa does look best.

I second that. Lovely job!

I built this in 1993/94 IIRC. Would like to have restored my old build after getting back into the hobby in 2016, but all those many, many parts formerly glued together practically just fell apart. So it was easier buying a new kit since they have become easily available shortly after that. I would be happy to get a result near as good as yours!
