avidinha Posted July 13, 2020 Share Posted July 13, 2020 I started with the '51 Chevy Sun Cruiser kit. I bought a resin conversion kit to turn it into a '52 that had the bumpers and grill. The resin rear bumper was a short shot and the grill was terrible so I cut the center bar out of the resin grill and put it in the kit grill. I used a resin continental kit, I added a little plastic to the spare so it would sit a little higher and I used the resin front bumper on the rear, I also added some tubing to extend the exhaust. I also made new side trim. I lowers the suspension with the kit drop spindles and de-arched the leaf springs to get the rear down and used some custom wheels and tires out of my parts box. And no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't get the inner fenders to fit, so I left them out. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
