AMT 1953 Ford Cresline Sunliner

Recommended Posts

Finished this one about a couple of months ago. I believe this was originally the Lindberg kit boxed under the AMT brand.

Fantastic! I like the blue! How was it to build? I've had one on the bench more than a year without much movement. LoL

Excellent build, that blue really looks nice.  I have a red one I built for my late wife, she had always wanted a red convertible.

Very nice! I have a few I need to look at. Yes, that was Lindberg back when they finally found their stride. A shame they didn’t continue.

Thanks. Actually the kit went together quite well.

Thanks for the heads up! The one I have is the Lindberg edition, with the pace car option. I'm planning to build it as the pace car.

Beautiful looking '53. Great paint color and finish. You have all the little dress up touches from the era on this. I like the finish on the convertible top and the little chrome pieces on the rear that most don't realize were used.
