AlbertD
This was built OTB and painted with MRP Super Gloss Black and MRP 2K Clear Gloss. This is my first try at car modeling but I have been building aircraft for a few a couple of years. First time doing a gloss finish and I think it came out pretty decently. Thanks for looking and please feel free to point out anything that would help me improve my work. Edited May 26, 2021 by AlbertD

majel
Looks great, that takes guts to paint black as your first gloss paint job!
David G.
Solid looking build, great looking paint, there's not much room for improvement! It looks to me like you're at the point of simply refining the skills you already seem to have. David G.
AlbertD
Thank you all for the kind words. I didn't know black was supposed to be a challenge until I finished this one. It all went very smooth with no issue at all. No sanding between coats and just a bit of real car wax after the 2K set for 3 days.
Doug 1061
That came out great. I have always found dark colors easier to paint whether on a model or 1:1. With darker colors it's easier to see the shine come up than with lighter colors.

lordorion1974
Well done! I have that one in the stash as my "holy grail" kit. I absolutely LOVE the Ford GT and was going to do mine in yellow with the silver stripes and gloss black rims.
