Very nice looking little Mustang Mike! I really like the color on it! It's a perfect example of what talent and effort can do with even the most basic model. Not to mention the repair work! Nicely done!

Beautifully clean build. The foil work and detail on the wipers are especially nice.

Reminds me of toolin' around in my Dad's Dark Blue HiPo 1966 Mustang Gt ( Where I admittedly got

a bit heavy footed at times), FUN car.

That must have been a lot of fun. I had a Hipo 289 in a '63 Falcon once, and it was a handful with the 4 speed and 3.89 gears. Surprised a lot of new muscle cars back in the '80s.

Well done Mike , beautiful paint and trim work !  This was well worth the effort that you put into it !

Thanks Bob, it always seems to be the fun projects that get done quickly and never fight you. It's like they want to become something, so they cooperate.

Thanks Roger. Not very often that I do a mainstreamer like a Mustang, but the lines on the early fastbacks are just so nice...

I'm not much of a Mustang fan, but this one absolutely grabs you by the collar and shakes you.

The color is what does it for me.

But then again, I'm a sucker for weird colors. ;)

High praise indeed, Steve. I too prefer the colors less traveled, and with your builds, you always deliver in that area. And pretty much every other area too.

Great restoration and the color is just fabulous.

Thanks again everyone, two more build threads are on the way. Summertime is model season here in the desert.

This is a very nice build. What did you use for the lighter tan inserts in the seat?

Thanks everyone for the compliments.

I used these on the interior. I did decant and airbrush the Rustoleum.
