well, that's one way to discourage anyone from touching the plug wires.

in my experience, older points type ignitions didn't use 8mm wire unless or until high performance ignition systems were used. most stock ignition systems before electronic/HEI came along were closer to 7mm spark plug wires. but I usually go with what "looks" right based on the scale or size of the engine.

count me in on giving this thing a "nose job". I was really digging it till I saw the nose... it's like two different people did the custom decisions, one for the front and a different person designed the custom parts back of the cowl. I think Foose or Kindig would have done better.

I have posted links and slide shows from Flickr in this forum without any more fuss than doing it from PBucket, it's just a slightly different process.

I will again point out that you get 1 TB with a free Flickr account. I have PBucket and Flickr, the main problem I have with PBucket is the spam I get from them now.

I have seen acetone "etch" some foams when atomized with a spray bottle... you might try creating glyph masks then etching the foam with acetone. I'm guessing some experimentation may be needed.

Bill's suggestion about aluminum foil is right on (and something I had suggested to another of the builders here). Since aluminum foil can sometimes be difficult to glue to things, Bare Metal Foil might be easier to wrap around LED's to control light "leakage". In some instances, having the LED inserted to metal tubing can also be great as a bezel and to control light "leakage".

painting the wheels red was a great choice, in addition to the "sportier look", it draws the eyes to the excellent work you put into these wheels.

you can reduce how fast the batteries run down by using smaller LEDs. the larger LEDs you have listed put out more lumens but they will also run the battery down faster. you can put very small LEDs behind the currently installed lenses. try researching surface mount LEDs.

maybe try "sealing" it with a coat of Future first... other peeps swear by it, I haven't gotten to the point of trying it due to other life issues.

It looks like the production of the Italia 2000 pre-dated the TR4 but (to me) certainly looks like a direct influence to the final shape of the TR4 while still keeping the Triumph identity in the grille area which would passed down from the TR3. I find myself wondering if the designers of the Italia 2000 got upset when they saw the TR4 released to the public.. like "Hey man, you ripped off our design...hows about a little credit?"

I knew it had Triumph heritage as soon as I saw the rear quarters. I find myself wishing I could put the front clip on my TR4. time to break out the photo-chop program..

the Adlice techs may be able to help resolve the lock up issue, when the scan finishes on my system, it brings up a website for solutions to remove PUP's (potentially unwanted programs). are there any other antivirus programs running at the same time which may be blocking roguekiller attempts to cure the problems found? figuring out the cause of the lockup would be helpful, I have not had that happen in win7 nor win10.

I haven't made any accusation, merely speculated a possibility. I suggest you take advantage of the free utilities posted in this thread... unless you are okay with trojans on your computer.

if you use your computer to pay bills and have no active protection then you are basically living in a glass house on the internet and waving your personal data to anyone that cares to look at it. that may sound alarming but identity theft is rampant, everyone that connects to the internet (in any way) should really consider having some kind of protection. or maybe you're just trolling here.
